    Thanks rahern and byte for the replies. I picked up a slab last night as a kind of a back up present for fathers day. It is the 4.3% alright. I remember previously picking up carslberg on a deal in centra which was 3.8%. My da is a bit of a beer snob in reverse..he will only drink carslberg and nothing else :D

    Grafenwalder Pils (4.9%) €1.05 per can in Lidl, today only, for the match and all that.

    Shame they didn't go 5 cents less to hit the magic euro per can.

    Was still on this morning. saw about 8 slabs in middle of floor with 20 euro sign.

    Think they might have 20 bottles for 12 euro too but not completely sure

    Lidl beer....Drinking a can (50cl 1.49) of Schwartzbier/Black Lager which I like. Nice bitter black taste. Also bought 50 cl cans of weissbier for 1.29. Will report soon on this. From memory not as good as Franziskaner but will fill the gap until its cheap again. Also got the 6 belgian beers for 15....a few left. All these in Swords lunchtime 15 June.

    The Weissbier is Perlenbacher. Confirm not as good as Franziskaner (my opinion) but reasonable everyday/everymatch drinking. Will keep my last Franziskaners for the later stages.

    Really? The ad I'm looking at is the online leaflet and it says €4.99 6x 330ml. It must be a newer leaflet not yet available on the app.

    It was an advert in todays Evening Herald. I looked online and it's there too on SuperValu.ie, perhaps it's limited to certain stores?

    My local SV doesn't seem to have it, unfortuantely. What they have is 12 packs of Carlsberg for €15. Not too bad, I guess, when their usual offer is 8 cans for €13, though obviously not as good as the deal you mentioned.

    I'll check again tomorrow and Saturday, in case they get stock in.

    My local store Cobh know nothing about it. Actually tried to charge me €17 for 20 bottles of Carlsberg.
