Crap shot of the new hack sitting on it's bum,

The hydropneumatic suspension is great gas, i'm sure the novelty will wear off quickly, but its hilarious seeing friends/family reactions when it just drops to the deck, or heads off up in the air :D:pac:

    Sweet!

Shes on 406 rims, 18ET as opposed to the Xantias 15ET requirement.... Once it's not rubbing the calliper though! :D

Runs on 185/60's too, they look like 195/65s....

Makes me want to get another one!

    Haha.

Those vans haven't been made for 17 years now, so it's getting difficult to find parts. I've got a bumper sorted, but won't get it until I'm on the continent again in June.

The van has lived in a forrest for over 20 years. No bumpers needed there.

Love that van, ever since the day you barreled past us on the m8, :D

Must get a close look at it some day.

Lots of new bits coming for it in June.

255/100/16 Michelin XLZ muds, new bumper, doors with electric windows and heated mirrors, a dash with rpm instrument, some new 8J wide tubeless rims, that will allow also to fit 286/75/16 A/T's and a lot more.

Hoping to fit my 6t winch in the next week or two.

My father had one years ago ... and the novelty never wore off :D

Then again, I am a child at heart and easily amused at times :D

Oh. And I've added this to the garage at the same time as the orange 4x4 LT.

Unfortunatly, it's destiny is to be an engine donor for my Volvo 340. But I'll take it for a trackday or two first :)

Love that air intake on the bonnet. Or is that a small shovel?

Nope. That's an air intake. And it's factory standard for this particular model.

That must eat through tires at an awful rate with that much camber! Especially with all the "downforce" from that wing!!! :D

Still has a fair bit of thread left surprisingly enough, and it's had that amount of camber for a while.

Results from a medium paint correction last week:

I also removed the grille to access the black rubber behind it. It was collecting a lot of crap so I cleaned it all up and used a trim restorer followed by 303 Aerospace Protectant to give it a hugely hydrophobic quality. Now it doesn't hold water or dirt and stays black:

Very nice, rare enough on our roads. How does the price compare to a Golf Gti?
