really really like the 7 series bmw, always on the lookout for one as well but the tax etc puts me off at the last minute

why did you take the chrome off? A few people seem to do this but I much prefer chrome on the cars

how long have you had the 728i for?

    thanks

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,662 ✭✭✭Voodoomelon

I've had it 4.5 years. I took the chrome off as I added it in the first year I had it, was cheap Halfords tack.
Its a sport model and looks infinitely better with the factory shadowline trim, dunno what I was thinking back then.

    As it looks now.

yeah, you are right actually does look even nicer. I thought it was factory fitted the chrome.

Ive started looking last couple of days for a new car but I know for a fact I will just keep my one at the moment, however if I saw a very good condition 7 series, ill be tempted

Voodoo, swing pics, and having seen it in the flesh, are the main reasons why is love a 7er.

    Sweet, sweet car man.

    Heh heh heh ;)

I'd be the exact opposite, rubbish paid for most of the parts for that pug so I'd be the very first to pick it up, hence why I used to drive a van! :D

History is the main thing. There's lots of E38s on Donedeal for a song, but I wouldn't touch 95% of them. Friends always comment to me on seeing E38s out on the road and what a state they're in, makes me appreciate my own that bit more. :)

Adam from on here has his 740 up, probably the best on sale at the moment.
