I was thinking this morning how easy it would be to get the woman of your absolute dreams if you only applied what you already know intuitively. Everyone has a picture of what the woman looks like, that's obvious. But also there is a corresponding picture of what you should look like to get that woman. Right down to the way you handle yourself in public and private, the kind of shape you're in, how you treat others, how cool you need to be, where you are going etc. But for whatever reason (usually laziness & discipline, myself) you don't strive to be that man and yet you still feel disappointed and frustrated that you don't have that girl. And actually, sometimes (rarely) you get that girl by luck and find yourself having to catch up to being that kind of guy that's right for her.
This exact thing happened to me a few years back in my early twenties, I got a girl that was at the time a dream girl. But I knew I wasn't up to scratch at the time so I worked very hard at becoming the guy I needed to be. This mostly meant hitting the gym, but again, that's something which is possibly individual to me. Anyway after I got myself up to standard by force of the situation I realised how easy this all was if you put your mind to it and did what you knew you had to do. Anyway I just wanted to document this thought process, if only for myself because I think its key.
