    Thank you kindly.
There was one brilliant monthly mix Casper did. It was someone pre - April '96. I remember listening to it solidly for a summer and then losing it.
If you can put any other monthly mixes up, I would be very grateful.
    Yours in respect.

lads, I know this was probably asked about a million times in previous posts..... but can anyone share some of the NRgex mixes from sides/gravity?
On a seperate note, i'm looking for a tune ID from one of the earlier NRGEX mixes, I think it might be 1 or 2 even. its the second song on the first side after a tune called "do one more" by Spoonio. I've never known the name of the tune and reckon I might be able to get my hands on it i can pick it up on the net.
    Thanking you in advance.....
Man what a thread. The memories.
    Tops.

    Best Techno/Dance record ever made:

    Here's the mp3:

The Hypnotist - The House is mine

    TheHypnotist-TheHouseismine.jpg

The “The House is mine” sample is from an 1986 Michael Mann movie called "Manhunter" where "Will Graham" (a young William Petersen from CSI) enters the house where a family murder took place and in order to get into the mind of the killer he starts off his psychological profile of him by saying into his little tape recorder: "The house is mine". This was the first of the Thomas Harris’ “Hannibal” novels (Red Dragon) that was made into a movie and this 5 years before “The Silence of the lambs” was made. They remade it in 2002 with Ed Norton playing Will Graham and called it “Red Dragon” after the book but in my opinion the original movie is the superior of the two. Take a bow Casper Pound AKA "The Hypnotist" for spotting this sample. It's all of 1 second out of the movie...

I know I'm coming into this late (by a few years!) You think you know the Asylum? You don't know the Asylum like I do. I have the star & key tattooed on my arm and six stitches to prove it :D. I have every single tape (over 400 of the bastards) - master copies from there. Mick, Jerry, Amon, Ed Burke (Ed Case) J-Tang (Tango), Rob (Pressure), Thyme (Deco) were all me mates.

I'm living in Chicago (hadda get outta the country - you know what I mean?) but I still have memories (well, what I CAN remember..), but I'll never forget that place ever.

    -Jay

P.S.: I hope whoever is reading this isn't the one who gave me the stitches...

It's going to take some doing. They're all on cassette, and I don't have the equipment hooked to my computer to get them all onto MP3. Plus, they'd be huge, so I'd have to spend time editing them. I should, since they'd last longer.

But I moved to America with 2 pairs of jeans, 2 tshirts, a pair of shoes and 400 tapes from the Asylum (LIVE). Name a date, I have the tape, and I can get some of the tracks up. I can't promise how good the quality will be from the transfer, however. If you're THAT into it, however, I can just send you a copied tape, though.

I used to live with Marty from Ballyer and Jamaican Natasha with Ed Case and Michelle above Tango. I'm going back in the day (1991-94)

I have goosebumps just talking about this. Its been a long time.

HOLY **** In the DJ Box 20Asylum.jpg picture, I'm in the picture! I'm in the white lacoste top with the stripes on the shoulders and the dark sleeves.

This just freaked me out. I'm buzzin! Thanks for this. I can't wait to show this to my girlfriend.

I will work on getting some tapes into MP3 ASAP.

Does anyone remember when that 9 foot robot came into the club after the Prodigy show?
