They did and it was a big mistake. A couple of dates into the tour egos started clashing and the whole thing was a mess.

The Pumpkins are the only band I can realistically see reforming and not be a sham

Definitley The Libertines and the stone roses. Would love a new album from either of those two.
Wouldn't mind G 'n' R coming back if they have material worthy of it.

The Libertines were great though, they really threw it away

Bit of an obscure one but.. Semisonic.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 32 ouch!

Soundgarden maybe but i'd be scared to see what they'd do.
Rage Against The |Machine yes, just cauce i'd love to see Audioslave go. They suck.
    Definatly Smashng Pumpkins!!!

Hey Zane (if that is u,.... which it isnt) The Verve have some court order that if they write music ever again, the money wont go to them as they stole that riff from Sweet Symphoney or what ever its called. So, unless they're stupid, i cant see that happening.

    Semisonic disbanded??
    When did that happen?

    What about Pantera?

We could start a "bands you'd like to see break up" thread, but that'd be bitter...

They got dropped from their record label, MCA after poor sales of 'All About Chemistry'

Dan Wilson's tackling solo projects (www.danwilsonmusic.com), Jake Slichter has become a pretty accomplished writer (http://www.metacritic.com/books/authors/slichterjacob/soyouwannabearockandrollstar) and John Munson... not too sure what has happened him!

They reformed for a couple of small gigs late last year in Minneapolis.

They're persistant in saying that another album may happen sometime down the road if they get re-signed but i'm not holding my breath.

Shame!... one of my favourite bands and very under-rated!
