Great spot. I absolutely love those DS decapotable's, wonder if it's an original Henri Chapron? My absolute first pick as a Lotto car. Bar none.

Agreed... They look stunning with the top down. The sleek likes are a joy to behold.

The DS is the real deal, one of approx 50 right hand drives built. 3 owners from new. In for a service and TLC. It does look a LOT better with the roof down;)

A Wartburg 311, sold new in 1962, the owner's father saved it from being scrapped when it was 3 years old! Was in a shed for years afterwards as it hadn't the proper 3 cylinder engine, a Ford sidevalve had been fitted, put back on the road about 6 years ago.

    Parts still available http://www.ldm-tuning.de/en/ifa_vehicles/wartburg_311_312_313/

This thing should be scrapped and forgotten. No remorse. No regret.

...some youngtimer cars I saw in Italy last week. All daily drivers.

I think most of the classic cars are in garages, because the sun over there is definitely much worse than Irish rain. If the car is parked just like that outside (especially if there is no building around to provide shade for most of the day) in long term it would have some major impact on interior, plastics and paint.

They're a pile of muck to drive alright. And not very well put together.

    That 'Fiat 500 K Giardiniera' looks 100% like a Fiat 600D

bad and blurry picture... what you see between that Panda and Multipla is Fiat 500 K Giardiniera - a longer version of the 500 with more space in the back. It was mint.

I saw the car in the pic and it's deffo the arse end of a 600. (I'm open to debate on whether it's a saloon or multipla though.)

There's a Giardiniera pottering around Dublin the odd time. It means "Gardener" and is exactly what they were intended for. The guy pottering from home to their wineyard and back with tool, plants and seeds in the back.

+1 the engine vents and badging are visible on the rear hood neither of which are present on the Giardiniera.

Now who was it that said "this isn't the photography forum but posting.... pictures in really terrible quality is a bit pointless..."

Aaaah , this isn't Swedish perfection tho

Seeing as most others were fairly good considering they had to be grabbed in 1-2 sec I think we can forgive the quality if not the 1 'mistake' (500K/600D)
That little 500L was taken from an a/c bus with no opening window so short of hi-jacking the bus I'd say the driver wouldn't stop just to snap a 500L .... ;)

Yes but miss the point. It was Diabhalta himself I was quoting above, he also said that "I think posting pictures from shows taken by mobile phone should be forbidden here." If you go about setting yourself up as the "photography police" on this very thread you deserve to be reminded of the fact. ;)

Any pictures are good pictures in my book anyway, at least somebody made the effort for the rest of us to enjoy. Be happy!:).

The cars are there. There is nobody standing in front of them, in the case of that 500 the car is all there and the pics are not taken with some silly ancient phone.

Oopss... the pictures from Ferrari museum are all gone...

I haven't objected to any photo, I never have, almost all the photos I ever post here are from a camera phone.

I was pointing out the irony of Diabhalta posting such a photo after he had launched such a sustained attack on someone for posting photos which he deemed to be sub-standard on this very thread to the point of comparing them to a kid.

Obviously others don't share my sense of irony.

But we do at least find out who acts like the child.
