good lot of memories there Larrianne!!! but yea it was good way way back. pity its gone to ****, just like everything else that has survived on telly. anyone remember saul, the cult guy...what was the story there its been so long i cant remember!

Saul was that hippy dude that came to summer bay. He got with Selina and brainwashed her and turned her against everyone else. He was one scary dude. Then Joey is Saulss son but he seemed to escaped the evilness of Saul. Can't remember how he was introduced. Probably escaped the commune.

Selina was finally rescued can't remember by who though. And I think Saul was banished from the Town. He did come back though but I dunno what he did or if he got his revenage. Did Selina have Saul's baby? She did get pregnant didn't she?? can't remember.

Think the reason it's so **** now, is that it was always **** but we were young and didn't know any better!! Back then it was teaching us about the world. Now it's like ah the world ain't exactly like that. I'd worry about people who have grown up and stil what it!!

Selina had the worst clothes, rad checked waistcoat and short denim skirt and then white socks with ankle boots. Oh she also slept with Jesse!! (can't believe he's gay in real life!)

Yeah I saw it in another thread. The Official Home and Away thread (or was it in this one,too much time spent in this forum!)

Haven't seen the porno no. Never heard of it. I'd say its more of an interest for guys. Sally is a very irritating character. Always whinging about something. Shut up woman.

The most important question here is why oh why is it called "home and away"?i woke up drunk this morning and could hear the theme tune blaring in the backround and asked that very question.....we were left undecided and very unhappy.
It should really be called "summer bay" or "reese is the ugliest man on the planet"

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 36,634 ✭✭✭✭Ruu_Old

hehe "reece's fishlips" or "why isnt morag dead yet?" are also good titles

Yes, any man who can still SquEEze into those beige pants a good 15 yrs after they were first bought, deserves to be a legend! ;) Does anyone know what half his sayings mean? "Stone the crows!" Where the hell did that come from or does he randomly pick words outta a dictionary and put them together??

I think Reese looks more like a Duck than a fish. Eeewww...

What was the name of the couple from the circus who lived
    in the caravan park ?
    back in the early days..

Floss and Neville lived in the circus caravan in the caravan park. Floss had a premenition about a car crash that Frank Morgan(Alex Papps) was in where he died and was brought back to life.

I worked with a few aussies before and people do say stuff like 'struth' and 'flamin gaalah'. So funny hearing it. Ah ya gotta love the aussies!

Ah yes Alf. Hes "Renaissance Man". I remember him in PrisnorCellblock H as some bad guy who tries to kill or threaten some prison officer.. Man its years ago.. But his verbal expressions are legend.
Anyone remember toe 2 scary paintings on the wall in Tom and Pippas gaff, that looked like they were haunted. U know the ones where the eyes move.. That freaked out my sister, used to be a an "in" joke. Id love a screenshot of the to remind her of the old days.
Kate Richie, yeah what a pereformer. That vid is quite amusing.I checked it for "research purposes"..

Lance and yerman were the best too. Now it sucks big time...

Who was he? I was getting him mixed up with Tug. He was the slightly thick dude that went out with Sarah, the goodie two-shoe. Tug one time, didn't want to do an exam so he swallowed salt water and then puked when he got to school.

Yes folks I did try that at home... :o

remember that denim hat tom used to wear? I remember Damien and Nathan (Irenes sons) used to be always making fun of it hehe.

Speaking of Damien remember him coming back in with dreadlocks!

Irene does have a few sayings also, "God save Ireland!" being one of them..i think. I also remember Coleen remembering her Irish roots.
