Rip the site and setup a mirror?

    Or

Just create a new site with the same structure

    It's not difficult really.

You do realise they intend to spend the money that is given to them? There’d be no money to reclaim if they fold.

    #MEGA MAKE EUROPE GREAT AGAIN

There was a time when it was so bad, it was good- that was the point of posting along to it- so many bad interviews- so many cringe things said by Tubridy- so many missed opportunities to ask good questions to interesting guests other than “I believe you’re of Irish ancestry- tell me more” .

Then came a time when the show was just so bad it didn’t matter anymore - filled to the brim with misery slots - we had said all we had to say - we knew nothing would change.

Thread has nearly died out now - PK’s version is just middle of the road light entertainment -it’s not worth watching no less criticising - TLLS died a long time ago from the perspective of being a powerhouse of change and controversy and good interviews- even Gay was phoning it in , in his final years with only small glimpses of past glories emerging -but he was even then, 10 times what Tubridy was

Well, it will be no use sitting in an account. If you contribute do it on the basis that it is appreciation for past entertainment, not a loan with conditions.

In fairness a migration of an existing forum to a new forum platform can completely kill traffic, by impacting SEO and then for other technical (quality) reasons, not readily apparent until the switch goes live with some water under the bridge.

If you fall foul of google then you are goosed. A forum as large as boards would see serious consequences. It might take time to reestablish traffic. It might never fully comeback. It is not always something fully within the control of the site operators.

The trend since 2010 across the entire www has been a steady unending drop in traffic year on year for the majority of forums.

This has be the largest factor and there are a good many reasons for it, but Google must be the primary one IMHO.
