If you have Guiu in your squad + 3 Chelsea assets, next time you save your team, you will have to sell 1 of them.

I haven’t been able to watch many games live so far this season and I thought I could rely on MOTD but you just can’t.

I’d rather 1-2 minutes of punditry and more minutes of the actual games but that’s not what we get.

I’ve had a shocking start too so not looking forward to this season as things stand. I’m not one for using stats to pick players so I’m fooked.

I always set MOTD to record on Saturday and Sunday night but rarely go back and watch it. I usually watch highlights on YouTube, sky sports have cut the length of some games big time to nothing nearly. Like this week they've only 3 minutes for Wolves v Everton which had 5 goals. Everton have extended highlights up which is 9 minutes. My IPTV provider has a PL replay section where the weeks games are lopped 24/7. Very good if want to watch a full game back or even have on in background. But the middle ground is hard to find, the 20/30 mins of extended highlights.

Not a great start, at all, to the season and what makes it worse is that I don’t know how to fix it.

I haven’t been able to come up with a clear plan and I’m losing money whilst players are also rising.

I don’t like any WC team I put together. I keep flip flopping on ideas around formation.

My current plan is to go with Salah and Haaland from GW 6 so I’m using my FT’s around that. In GW 7 I hope to have 2 FT’s to fix my defence but I know the price changes between now and then will fook me.

One thing I’m thinking around DC points is that if you have 5 good defenders that are likely (going by stats) to get those extra 2 points every week then you could hope for an additional 8 points every week. Over the course of 30 weeks that’s a hell of a lot of points. 240 to be precise.

So a 532 formation is viable and I don’t think that reflects on previous years ‘big at the back’ ideas. So a WC team now with VVD, Tarkowski, Lacroix, Senesi and then one of Collins, Anderson, Van den Berg or even Agbadou would at least be a clear strategy that is also low maintenance as you would have to play those 5 defenders every week.

In the same boat, another poor start.

Currently have, Kelleher, Rogers, Watkins, Adringa Cunha, and Wood, (latter 2 part of a disastrous -4), stinking up my team. Already have done Cunha to Grealish. That leaves a team of Kelleher, Porro, Munoz, Diouf, (Williams,Esteve)

Pedro, Watkins, Wood.

Has the classic if "I hadn't of wildcarded" feel about that team. Think I might hold on for 1 more week or free hit.

First thought with that is it’s bad news for their defenders as Postecoglou usually favours attacking football.
