Jasmine Paolini was in trouble against Yuan of China, but won the last 14 points. No big losses in the seeds, but Kostyuk losing was a bit of a surprise.

Sonego has just leveled at a set all against Shelton on Chatrier, could go on a while.

Is that with NOW, or Sky Sports Extra - I signed up for sports extra with now thinking we would be able to stream all the courts as usual but it appears not?

Emma Navarro walloped off the court, 6-0,6-1. Svitolina started well yesterday. Up to 13 in the world from 24 since she started with her new racquet👍️

Raducanu has taken first set 7-5 against Wang, very little between the two.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,187 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Raducanu through in three sets…she complained of being ill after...Swiatek next....I don't give her much hope.

Wawrinka (still going at 40!) lost a tight first set on a tiebreak to Jacob Fearnley

Yes they do but only one or two matches at a time. In the good old days you could choose any court to watch!

Taylor Fritz (#4 seed) lost to Altmaier. Maybe not so big a surprise, as clay is his worst surface.

Emma Navarro (#9 seed) didn't just lose, she barely avoided being whitewashed, winning one game at 6-0 5-0 down.

    Badosa-Osaka was a very good match (6-7, 1-6, 6-4).

Ostapenko took the scenic route for the umpteenth time in her career: 5-2 up in the first set, lost it 7-5, then won the next 9 games to take control. Probably no other current player has racked up so many sub-2 hour 3-set matches in their career.

Sinner just got broken at the start of the third set by Rinderknech, but I don't think he'll be too worried. Monfils has got the nighttime slot on Chatrier tomorrow night, no surprise there.

Rinderknech played a drop shot then did a Michael Jackson-esque 360 degree turn mid point. Was absolutely hilarious, plus he won the point.

    Communication was the greatest fatality

Unfortunately, that might be all he'll win tonight. Serving for a 5-0 lead in the 3rd set, he's now 5-6 down.

She complained about not feeling great? I find that hard believe 🤔

Watched some of the presentation to Nadal today. Federer, Djokovic and Andy Murray came out. I didn’t see Murray and Djokovic exchange one word. They were as far as they possibly could be from each other the whole time. Murray actually looked v uncomfortable. I’m sure he knows that he wasn’t really at the level of the other three and that he was just invited out of kindness.

Or Murray was part of Djokovics staff up until recently? I am guessing the split wasn't mutual like the statement said.

looks like it. The vibes weren’t good anyway. And then Djokovic goes and wins a tournament straight after dumping him. I thought it was a very odd arrangement anyway. Dynamic wasn’t right.

Medvedev out in a five setter to Cameron Norrie....yikes

I signed up for the NOW sports extra month package @ €38. Only to realise the absolute rubbish it was. One channel that showed only the womens matches yesterday morning . I signed up expecting to avail of all the tnt channels. I contacted NOW and they refunded me my money and cancelled package.

I am now able to watch the full TNT line up and choose whichever match I wish. Some in UHD.

I downloaded a VPN in the apps option of smart tv. I chose proton VPN as I use proton for emails etc. If you have a firestick it is very easy to do. But you do need a firestick or have apple tv installed. It works with both but the firestick is better as you can choose from a variety of UK networks choosing the one with lowest usage at any given time.

Select UK as your country/IP address. Download Discovery+ app in the same apps section as the vpn you downloaded.

Here is the important part. You will need to register a new account while your uk vpn is turned on as it will then recognise you being in the UK. Once you register your new Discovery account it is pretty straighforward. You will be given the option to purchase the TNT sports package @ 30 UK pounds. And thats it same price for one channel on NOW you get everything this way. I downloaded in one room using firestick in another room on 2nd TV using apple tv.

I just stuck TNT ultimate on and had to listen to 10 minutes of Cam Norrie drone on about his match (had never really heard him talk before but he speaks about as boring as he plays tennis) before they finally decided to show some tennis. Jack Draper lost the first set while this was going on, wtf are they at?

Good comeback for Draper in 4 sets.

Fonseca (what a talent) has taken first set against Hurkacz 6-2

Monfils looked like he might retire after an injury in the very first game (crashed into advertising hoarding) , then went two sets down, but eventually won 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 7-6, 6-1.
