    Djoko stretching his leg a lot though - will he actually last 4 sets, or 5?

    I only tuned in a couple of games ago, but the pace is ferocious!

    2-0 - I'd say that's that now, as brilliant as he is, is can't see Djokovic coming back from 2 down to win.

    Musetti stills has problems lasting the pace in a 5-setter, It was like a switch was flicked when Alcaraz won the second set tie-break.

    The commentators are already asking if Sinner would last the pace in a 4 and 1/2 hour match with Alcaraz on Sunday. They seem to have written Novak off.

    Djkovics time is up as a major winner, and he knows it. In times past, he would have routinely gone for a 15 minute bathroom break if 2-0 down, just to mess with his opponents mind in pure gamesmanship. Not this time. That stick won't work with Sinner this time .

    He's still able to beat most of the field in a slam … but as long as Alcaraz and Sinner are there, his chances of winning are slim, and getting slimmer by the year.

    A lot more competitive than I thought it would be, fair play to Djoko for that. He can't expect to play much better than that though and he didn't take a set off Sinner, he may still be able to beat 95% of the field but it's unlikely we'll see him win a 5 setter against Sinner or Alcaraz again.

    Well, it took just over 3 hours, but it had an air of inevitability about it.

    I wonder when was the last slam where both singles finals were between the #1 and #2 seeds? I'm sure someone, somewhere on the Internet will find out.
