Going to The Open at Portrush 2025

Now that the tickets have landed, I thought it would be good to start a new thread - separate from the Portrush Open ticket ballot one. Mainly for people to post tips for others - like good locations on the course, merch bargains(long shot!), tented village attractions, park n ride experience, etc. I'm going on the Friday…

if he wants to get back to where he was he seriously needs to do something about his temperament. Rory is almost as bad but his pure ability just about gets him through. By comparison Scheffler is unflappable

Facing a bit of a dilemma. Picked up a resale general admission ticket for tomorrow, some time ago, along with a Park and Ride ticket.
Donegal based, so not a massive trek. However, with the expense of an All Ireland weekend coming up, thinking of taking a pass on this now.
Pm if interested in both at face value - approx. €150 (£130) + €20 (£17).
I might still head up the road though. What's the atmosphere like there today?
