Now that the tickets have landed, I thought it would be good to start a new thread - separate from the Portrush Open ticket ballot one. Mainly for people to post tips for others - like good locations on the course, merch bargains(long shot!), tented village attractions, park n ride experience, etc. I'm going on the Friday with my son and daughter.

there was a similar thread in 2019 with some great info.

Is the park and ride included with your ticket?

No, you need to book the park and ride. You should have gotten an email from them with details of how to book.

You get a separate pass for the park and ride

I only booked parking last week. It was £17 and yes the parking pass gets added to your Open Tickets app. I think they said first bus to the course was 5:00 or 5:30.

Parking Passes for the campsite arrived yesterday, better not lose them now. Anyone any recommendations for a food stop on way up, probably between newry/Belfast? I've started prepping stuff to put away now

Did they come in the post Mushy or in an email?

By post for me, but I only booked when booking the camping, so it's for that car park only and not for regular park and ride

You booked the carparking that is available with the campsite? Same as me so. I didn't expect anything in the post. I presumed we'd just print the pass from an email

Yeah when booking the camping there was option for parking so took that. Also wasn't expecting anything but it showed up yesterday. Comes from an address with Seamos House on it, it's legit if it shows up
