Talking about crap jobs. Fintan does a really crap job at his job. Infact of all the Irish times writers well he is the crappest. We would need the Wicklow mountain rescue team to rescue him he is so far up his own arse.

Flynn get over 80 k a year so she can ramble on in the Seanad, Mick McDowell must nearly lose the will to live whe he has to sit through the nonsense she comes out with.

And of course she was put in there in the first place by that Martin.

Just one of many stupid decisions he made.

I'm not defending him but he has been talking for years about the grooming gangs in which he was correct and now Starmer who branded anyone questioning it, as far right racists, has changed

People who are victims are "playing the victim card "?

So they should shut up about it , is that what you are inferring ?

McDowell comes out with plenty of his own nonsense, so he's in a poor position to criticise others, notwithstanding the fact that he too is on €80k and had already received a nice golden handshake the first time he retired from politics. He's in no position at all to complain when he is there of his own volition. And yes, Flynn was put there by Martin, because she earned it, because in spite of the idea that being a bleeding heart suggests she is unaware of the social/political views within her community as Stephen suggests - it's because the complete opposite is true that she chose to enter into Irish politics in the first place, as anyone who imagines their political representatives aren't up to the task, is perfectly entitled to do.

Providing they have sufficient support and they are elected, they too can receive a salary from public funds to spout as much complete nonsense as they like, as opposed to imagining that doing so on social media is likely to improve their lot in life any time soon. Of course that would require them to subject themselves to public scrutiny, and that's not something our brave contributors to this discussion are likely to be doing any time soon, perhaps because contrary to popular belief, they are acutely aware of their own shortcomings, which can never be addressed by any Government, political or social policy.

That’s a pretty extreme statement to make about anyone, let alone without any proof. You’re throwing out serious accusations like “racist grifter”, “fraternises with child molesters” and “assaults people” as if they’re just opinions, but those are actually claims of criminal or immoral behaviour. Unless you can back them up with solid evidence, you’re crossing into defamation territory. Disagree with someone’s politics all you want, but making those kinds of allegations without proof says more about your argument than it does about the person you’re attacking.

While Tommy Robinson has been involved in incidents where he’s acted in self-defence, this post goes much further and makes unverified claims such as “fraternises with child molesters” and calling him a “racist grifter.” Coming from a moderator, this kind of personal attack is inappropriate and unprofessional. It’s not just political disagreement — it’s making damaging accusations without evidence, which reflects poorly on the forum.

Google "Tommy Robinson affiliation with sex offenders" and you'll get plenty of results that publications were willing to stand by.

Living in an area with a very high number of Indians, I don’t think reports on attacks on Indians is as exaggerated as some seem to think. I’ve been hearing about attacks on Indians (whether verbal or physical) since before the Tallaght attack, and it’s absolutely gotten worse over the summer holidays.

Speaking only about my area - we all know it’s the feral teenagers who come in from the nearby area purely to wreck havoc. They’ve been emboldened for years now as the guards say they can’t do anything as they’re underage, so I’m glad to see a spotlight being shone on them.

I’m not sure if it’s racism per se though. Why is it that Indians seem to be the primary targets, while Black or Middle Eastern people aren’t attacked in the same way? Could it be because some members of those groups have a more visibly assertive, sometimes aggressive presence, as we see in footage of fights in town, etc? Indians, by contrast, are one of the most successful immigrant groups here, and their peaceful, calm nature earns them great respect. Unfortunately, that same quality may make them an easier target in the eyes of the scrotes.

I've seen you post more than your fair share of conspiracy theories without evidence. Why's that ok? I notice that you had no interest in asking the poster I quoted for evidence.

I've backed up claims about Yaxley-Lennon several times in the past and it always gets ignored. It's all documented pretty thoroughly and nobody's ever been able to explain to me how his habits of assaulting people, grifting, committing mortgage fraud and associating with nonces benefits the British public.

The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born. Love them as yourself, for you were foreigners in Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

Scrotes will always target anyone they think can't fight back.

We've allowed a sub section of Irish society to flout the law for years, absolute skangers walking the streets with previous convictions in triple digits, so stories being wheeled out in the courts, "boo hoo your honour my client didn't finish school and has been taking drugs for years". The judiciary has a lot to answer for as well. We should be building prisons and locking dangerous thugs up for decades, the system isn't broken, it never worked, and it's yet another reason why our immigration policy is so illogical. We've never gotten to grips with our home grown scumbags and there's naturally going to be a percentage of criminals arriving illegally.

Indians are decent people, but not necessarily well equipped to deal with the feral aggressive scumbags native to this windy rock. As previously said, they pick and choose who they single out for this treatment, had we a decent criminal justice system in place these scumbags would know not to attempt that type of thing to begin with.

Mad that. Any normal person would say right, you're not what we are looking for here. Denied. Out the door the same day and on a flight. Human rights? Ask me bollocks. Good luck sir.

The Journal are throwing more fuel on the fire and doing their best to keep the momentum going. I can only see this making the Indian community an even bigger target for the feral teenage scumbags to attack.

This is true. Some may remember a short while ago there was similar coverage all over the media about a rise in attacks against gay people.

All the commentary then and now going on about social media and the rise of the far right. All utter nonsense.

The bulk of attacks then, now and for the next group are by the young scrotes who have been above the law for years now. The resultant crime this has led to is making each scrote generation worse than the last.

None of the people commenting in the media have mentioned this. One clown today said we need to bring in hate speech laws to sort it out.

To be fair, there’s plenty of evidence of Robinson’s criminal activities, and his associations with members of EDL convicted of sexual crimes involving children -

It is unclear why Robinson has chosen to travel on the Irish passport. One reason may be to avoid post-Brexit queues at airports, an irony given that the far-right leader was a committed supporter of leaving the European Union.

However, he also has a number of criminal convictions, ranging from assaulting an off-duty police officer to stalking, fraud and drug possession. In 2013, he was jailed for 10 months for using someone else’s passport to travel to the US.

He was arrested in June in Canada on suspicion of committing an immigration offence. The image of the immigration authority form was tweeted by Robinson after he was detained, having been ordered to stay in the country and hand over his passport.

There’s quite a list at the end of this article, in which they also point out -

While we are not suggesting that Lennon had any knowledge of these awful crimes, we can find no examples of him condemning these supporters once their crimes came to light.

I'm not disputing he is a scumbag but he was right about the grooming gangs

What reflects poorly on the forum and on some posters here, is posting and supporting a known white supremacist , while on the other hand denying that they themselves have leanings in that direction .

@JP Liz V1 you will find all the evidence you need on the dedicated thread for that creep already . Why not use it ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 17,390 ✭✭✭✭Goldengirl

Do you not think that these scrotes have mobile phones with sites like Telegram to guide their " thinking " if thought even plays a part ?

Exactly how the same people were mobilised for different riots over recent times .

Of course they are being told who the latest targets are , as well as targeting relatively peaceful people who are not known to fight back .

Do posters just not read posts anymore, I wasn't asking for evidence of TR bad deeds as they are well known , I was responding to posts about my post , no one is denying TR is a bad dude but he was right about the grooming gangs and Starmer has u turned

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,405 ✭✭✭lmao10

Agreed. You can't even debate this kind of logic. The simple fact is that the far right have been successful in targeting this forum and it's become a joke at this point. It's not a good look. It doesn't work for them on reddit as we saw when they tried the same tactics.

He wasn’t right about the grooming gangs though. He sought to characterise immigrants as sexual predators and all the rest of it, not nearly the same thing as you’re suggesting that he was right about any particular incident of immigrants abusing children.

The reason his hypocrisy is pointed out to him is simply because it appears he cares less about women and children, and more about promoting his own agenda against immigrants (though he doesn’t apply that standard to himself either). There’s also plenty of evidence to support the claim that he is nothing more than a grifter, for his own personal, financial and political gain -

We don't have any "grooming gangs" here, so I'm pretty sure this has nothing to do with immigration in Ireland, which is the topic of the thread.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 92,394 ✭✭✭✭JP Liz V1

If you were reading the whole thread you would see I didn't bring him into this thread, just replied to a post about him and I don't appreciate being called or hinted as a white supremacist

Do I have issues with immigration yes , do I not want to see kids stabbed at schools hell yes, but I do not think that makes me a white supremacist, we have gone from far right racists to white supremacists

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2, Paid Member Posts: 17,390 ✭✭✭✭Goldengirl

Yeah right. Not remotely what I said to you . I said there was a thread for him . Is there a reason why TR is relevant here ,no so why discuss it here ?

ACD was right not to reply ...I won't again either about this .
