Yeah it does last a few days. You should be fine by Monday. Hope you can rest. The fatigue is off the charts.

got it Tuesday aswell and not a bother after the first day. I went doing some physical work in the afternoon and I think that helped reduce the following day ache.

    On thread topic

People outside the doctors talking their age and previous illnesses up wreck my head. It’s not a competition

When you can't face the big problems in your life so you agonise over little issues.

My TA with the Lottery, I can’t check my tickets online anymore. You used to be able to put in your ticket numbers and it would give you the results. Now I have to go to Dunnes (only across the road so 1st world problem)

That I thought it was Gin o'clock and forgot I hadn't changed the clock in the car :-(

Drove into town and thought must change the time on the car clock. On the way out thought great nearly 5pm and on a Saturday thats a good enough excuse for a Gin and Tonic. Got home and realised it was only 4pm. Still haven't changed the clock in the car.

Wake me up when it's all over.

That I’m on a bit of a sugar rush after halloween and all I can think about is going to pound shops to get massive Toblerones and Dairy Crunches

Breaking news is when there's some type of disaster or a very high profile death.

It should not be used when they announce the line up for I'm a Celebrity or the couple from Married at First Sight break up.

People/management companies who spray weed killer along verges, hedges, around trees, instead of just using a strimmer or lawnmower. You have this piss coloured stains of poison everywhere.

    1. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid Google: "You didn’t provide enough info for Google to be sure that this account is really yours. Google asks for this info to keep your account secure. If possible, when signing in:
    • Use a device where you’ve signed in before
    • Use a familiar Wi-Fi network, such as at home or work"

Eh, I've done both and used the right password, you nincompoops. You want additional details because you are actively phishing. And you're not even telling me there's a security issue when I log in from my phone, so I can't even tell you it was me trying to log in (which I also did yesterday, by the way). Bastards.

    2. I forgot my second TA, and that's a TA in itself.

When you look at the cookie requirements for some sites. 1000s of third parties and their third parties getting access to everyones data.

There was a guy in the US recently with a 1000 dollar business who had 100s of millions of people's data in his house, with little security. And he was hacked. The data was stolen. And he's just one mom and pop shop with your data.

Festival on in the local town and one of the pubs that serve food print a special 'festival' menu.

Exact same menu as every other day but the prices ramped up by average 30%

trying to find a waterproof rain jacket that I like.

Water ‘resistant’ & water ‘repelling’ jackets everywhere. waterproof, is what I need / want.

Waterproof : impervious to water, keeps out water….
Water resistant : able to resist the penetration of water to some degree but not entirely
Waterproof jackets are a thing for over a century, why is it so hard to find a nice one or even any one amongst my favourite labels this winter ? 🙄

It’s a bit like when my password isn’t working and I click new password . And type what I thought was my password which they wouldn’t accept only to be told “ You can’t use the same password “ . F-off

Edit - I see Hilda already replied with the same thing

The recent spate of lycra-clad instatwats setting their tripod cameras up right in front of the Dumbell rack, Purely to show themselves squatting with 10kg and their ass right into the camera. Then the look of disgust when you try and get some dumbells from the rack in the middle of their "set".

Went to a show by the orchestra yesterday with a "professional" announcer. Playing songs from fantasy movies and TV shows. The announcer fcuked up her announcing meaning the orchestra had to skip the Lord of The Rings song on the programme. It was so awkward for everyone but she was oblivious. They never went back to it either. It's not a fantasy show unless you play LOTR dammit!
