A dusting with snow a little further NW in to Donegal than forecast earlier this evening. Also readily turning to snow now across the southern flank of the band across Leinster

There's a dusting in Dublin 5 now after a completely snowless winter, I was optimistic about this so it's nice to see something happening. March giving something after a dreadful winter yet again...

TII traffic camera gives a good idea of the snowfall in the Midlands, this being the N55 in Longford. Roads are are not gritted due to a lack of weather warnings by Met Eireann. I mentioned yesterday evening that I was surprised at the lack of warnings as disruptive snow was looking likely in many inland areas.

Just rain here in south Dublin by the coast, thwarted again!

Lovely to see all the pics though, keep them coming!

Snowing in Naas. I wasn't expecting that. Just sitting on the edge of the bed watching it fall.

No snow, lots of rain in Dunshaughlin, Meath

Snowing in Dublin 18. Really nice to finally see flakes falling from the sky. Imagine the Dublin and especially Wicklow mountains will get a substantial amount of snow over next 24 hours.

    Longford. Still snowing.

Yes I'm in the Midlands and it's pelting down. Much heavier than anything seen during the previous weather warnings of recent months.

Moderate snow in county Longford. Will get a few more photos soon. Forgetting to bring the drone yesterday was a guarantee of a decent fall off snow.

Should get something soon. Bit of a role reversal just now. Right on the coast in Dublin and around 1cm down and snowing moderately.

Won't last long but at least it's something 😁

Snow in inner city Dublin. Last place to get it usually. Nothing on the ground though. Plenty on the car.
