Last 128 of World Youth Championship starting today. Groups of 4 with only the group winner making the knock stages. Keane Barry is through, Dylan Slevin and Dylan Dowling both won their first 2 games so a win in their third game will put them through. No joy for Katie Sheldon or Dylan Quinn

Also, Keane Barry confirmed his spot at the world championships by virtue of his finish on the Development Tour OoM. He is a bit outside the places on the main OoM so just as well really.

Bear in mind, the Slam spots are for next year's (2025) tournament, not this year's (2024); so it wouldn't have had an impact on Dylan's Tour Card race anyway.

Mansell, Lennon and Slevin need some good floor tournament showings quickly in order to have a chance at qualifying for the players championship finals and/or the Worlds. Barry the same except he is already through to the worlds

Final Players Championship floor event of the year on at the moment, few of the Irish darters need a hail Mary to make to the Players Championship finals and/or direct qualification for the worlds from it

Wins for Slevin, Barry and Lennon in round 1. Mickey Mansell up against Gawlas and likely has to win that + 1 more game to secure a place at the worlds =. The others need runs to the semi final or more likely final. Keane Barry though has a worlds spot via the dev tour

edit - Mansell wins. WOC also just beat number 1 seed Dave Chisnall. Willie is already in both the worlds and Players Finals though

Only Steve Lennon makes it to round 3. No Players Finals for Slevin, Barry or Mansell. Lennon needs a final here to make it into the players finals and the worlds.

Slevin will lose his tour card if he doesnt get into the worlds via the floor qualifier
