Is that car fixable by tomorrow?

Russell is enjoying himself out there in what seems a good car at this track.

Both Red Bulls on the bubble. **** was that Max impeding? Yep. Crap.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,986 ✭✭✭McFly85

Looks like a certain penalty for Max there.

You would imagine that’s a slam dunk.

If it is and there’s grid slots at play, I wonder would Red Bull be tempted to take a whole new set of engine components and a new gearbox.

This can't go much worse for Redbull can it?

Jesus could both Bulls be out?

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,855 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

    Both redbulls depart at Q2.

That RedBull looks like an absolute handful to drive

Horner asking Newey there if they still get paid for Q1.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,986 ✭✭✭McFly85

Well now they may as well! Lawson knock him out!!

    LOL

Christ it’s turned into a mare for red bull.

Wow now that’s a shock. Track specific or also related to those flexi wing rule changes.

  • Site Banned Posts: 12,341 ✭✭✭✭Faugheen

    Wow.

Fair balls to Liam Lawson btw. He’s hopped into an F1 car and has got so comfortable in such a short period of time.

    Alonso for pole!

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,855 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

Hopefully they can sort something out with the car, they always tend to have a good race car as they say. Where will Max be starting on the grid though?

Q1 should be a great shoot out here. I am going to go for Russell over the Ferrari pair.

Oh the child is tossing those toys outta the pram, even tossed him self out... ah well he will still win 😂

    Hahahaha 😂

Tomorrow is already set up to be the most interesting race of the year, regardless of Q3.

  • Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 10,154 Mod ✭✭✭✭Andrew76

Well surely there goes the winning streak. Max will defo get a penalty for impeding so that will put him further down the grid, no chance of a win on this track unless something bizarre happens.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,563 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

max qualifies 11th but there’s not a hope he stays there.

    Through to Q3:

    1. Sainz, Ferrari

    2. Russell, Mercedes

    3. Alonso, Aston Martin

    4. Magnussen, Haas

    5. Norris, McLaren

    6. Hulkenberg, Haas

    7. Leclerc, Ferrari

    8. Hamilton, Mercedes

    9. Ocon, Alpine

    10. Lawson, AlphaTauri

7 different teams! It's going to be fun!

Sainz has been brilliantly consistent for Ferrari.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,646 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

Singapore is a bit of a bogey track for Verstappen, he's only had 2 podiums there since 2016

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,855 ✭✭✭✭ctrl-alt-delete

I know we have the anomaly of both Redbull cars being out, but Lawson outperforming Tsunoda here and getting his car into Q1 is some feat. Looking at where Alonso is too surely Stroll senior has to be under pressure soon to fill that seat with someone more deserving.

Danny could be struggling to get his seat back

Russell v Sainz for pole I reckon, they’re both flying. Don’t bother letting Ricciardo back in the car, let Lawsen have the rest of the season I say. 😁
