New track layout this year too - they've gotten rid of some slow corners towards the end of the lap after the turn 15 bend. Will make for a faster lap and looks like it might be an overtaking opportunity.

This footage from the F1 game shows the difference - coming out of turn 14 (1:17s) it looks like a decent blast down to the next proper corner at 16.

It would be nice if those upgrades bumped them up a few places and hopefully Lawson and Yuki have a clean weekend so we can better compare them. Liam doing a decent job so far to be fair to him.

I don't like the new changes. The took away ironic part of the track for me represented Singapore GP. Its like taking out 130R Suzuka , Eau-rouge at Spa or taking away the tunnel in Monaco.

Red Bull with a bit of work to do tonight to close the gap to Ferrari, 7 tenths off the pace in FP2 there I see. Bit of a bogey track for them.

We could have a great qulay on our hands. Not making any guesses on the race though, this is a bit of a lottery.

I would expect RB to improve, but Ferrari look to have the upper hand, and Merc and Alonso not too far off either.

The 2 red bulls have been struggling since yesterday with car updates (wing changes I think?). Could shake things up a bit today and tomorrow?

Based on past experiences with the Ferrari's is still expect Max to win even if he's starting 3rd with the two Ferrari's ahead. His biggest risk will be getting out of turn 1 without incident.

Worst case for Max would be for Russell to be either alongside or on the row behind him.

Brundle seems to balance it off at least. I didn't hear Max's comments, but it must have been something along the lines of the car not being acceptable.

Martin said it could come across as petulent but that it is one of the reasons why he is a multiple world champion.

Most of the drivers out there come across as great guys on the radio when it is going well and the opposite when it is not.
