    'Eh'

    but it's better than

    'As I was saying...'

    or

    'To be fair...'

(hits me somewhere beneath the enamel on my teeth)

    "probably"

Everything that follows that word is a complete waste of time

    Preggers instead of pregnant

The whole "should of" and "could of" thing really sets my teeth on edge also

People who say "hello, hi" as a greeting on the phone. Just say one or the other, not "hello, hi"

    Preggers

    Hollibobs

    Crimble

'should of' instead of 'should have'

'try and' instead of 'try to'

using 'less' when correct use is 'fewer' (Fewer means “not as many.” Use fewer with countable nouns like cookies. "Cookie Monster was told to eat fewer cookies". Less means “not as much.” Use less with uncountable nouns like milk. "Could you give Cookie Monster less milk next time?"

    Yeah, I'm a riot at parties. 😏

"If you can afford x then you should be able to afford y."

No thats not how money fcuking works, it can only be spent once.

Usually from a position of pure begrudgery.

Also "notions", hate that expression. Usually the same dickheads.

Companies that issue virtue-signalling press releases saying they are "playing our part". It usually means by screwing their employees.

I never really understood the difference between fewer and less until you said that.

So regarding the milk, it would only be correct if you said "Could you give Cookie Monster fewer centilitres of milk?"

And it would be "less sugar" unless you were talking about a specific measurement (i.e spoonful), where it would become fewer spoons of sugar?

    That would soften their cough.

When people cite the year as a means of making a point whereby the current time has nothing to do with it.

"In this day and age" or "It's 2023, you'd think that..." as if there's some comparitve benchmark to use against it.

Corporate phrases, brand-terminology etc is annoying. What's even more annoying is when people chuck out a caveat before saying using that terminology to seem like they're relunctant.

"Now, I know you're tired of me saying this" or "I hate this jargon as much as you, but..."

They're usually text-book w*nkers who love this stuff.

When people refer to their kids as "Child Number 1" or "Daughter Number 2" instead of, you know, their actual real names. Mainly happens on social media.

    Grow the f**k up.
