Bullets not ejecting

I have 3 or 4 different types of rounds not ejecting when I release the bolt after firing. The gun is only a month old and I have shot 200 rounds before it started.

I bought 1000 rounds of Aguila rounds and 1 out of the 1st 50 ejected, the next 49 I had to pull out. Then I have so Federal bird shot and fired 2 and neither came out.

I have some Norma subsonic sand a few of them have been sticky also.

Any ideas what the reason could be?

    Clean the chamber & extractor

The gun may simply not like the Aguila. I had similar today with my pistol. It cycled CCI SV (1070FPS) all morning but caused eject and feed issues with the Aguila SV (1135FPS).

Edit to add, my Pistol does not like Norma Tac-22 either but it chews up CCI SV.

    Simple.

    Bring it back to supplier.

Tried that, but think I’ll give it another go tomorrow to see if that helps.

the aguila bullets are tight to be fair to push in.

    What rifle is it?

As Gumbo said, if it’s a semi-auto then its common knowledge that some (both rifles & pistols) fail to cycle properly with standard speed SV rounds and they need a bit more oomph to recycle properly. Some SA’s are very finicky and don’t run properly if action/bolt/chamber is dirty.

CCI SV runs around 1070 fps, try SV ammo over 1100+ fps (Geco SA or SK SA) or similar.

Regardless of speed, most firearms like some types of ammo better than others, for efficient operation & accuracy, testing is the name of the game.

Does my bolt have a bit missing?

    What make/model is the rifle?

I think the build up of crud at the red dot is causing your issue, preventing the extractor from engaging properly. Just for pig iron try some Eley, they have a thinner rim thickness.

It shouldn't be happening though after a few hundred shots.

Clean the bolt head as Feiser has pointed out.

Silver side showing "wear" not consistent with a new rifle?

Cleaned if afterwards and the Norma subsonics ejected properly. Still wondering if the silver extractor is broken and missing a piece?

Finally got a response from savage and they are sending new ejector parts out.

Charlie, is it extraction from the chamber or ejecting the empty case from the bolt out of the rifle your having ?

It was pulling the casing from the barrel that was the issue, the rifle went to Walter Blacklaw in Wexford who sorted it out, needed very slightly honing to the barrel and problem solved.
