Could lose some of them. But only 3 ulster clubs in division 1A/B so could see some of academy players stay with them

All ulster players have been reallocated from Malone and Banbridge, the players and ulsters preferred option is for them to be playing at a higher level than 2A.

anyone know how blackrock going about there recruitment this year? be interesting to see how they go now there back in div 1 and blaney still presumably over the reigns i'd be interested to know if he will try get a few of the nure lads involved...

They'll add a fair bit to their squad i imagine. could get more rock school players who mightnt have went to them when they were a 2A side as well

Yeah was thinking that although I don’t think the connection between the club and school is as strong as it once was say 15-20 years ago

it isnt near as strong but being a division 1 club makes it easier to get some of the stronger school players compared to being 2A.

simular reasons as to why u see players in nure like panda keating, coghlan etc etc playing for nure....... almost certain skehan was the garryowen head coach when panda played for them and when coghlan had an in and out stint with them while on a munster contract!.... only one could guess that benefited there move to nure knowning a coach already that they were gonna play for.

seen that yeah.... and angus lloyd hanging up the boots to. from what i know tony ryan said he would go one more year. I'd say tarf be looking at transition period soon losing key players like lloyd and ryan in the next year or two

i heard they got turner from trin but not madigan - dunno how much game time he will even get if hes still leinster tied too. whats madigans gig? is he fully retired or what and thats why he was all talked about amongst ail supporters about going to rock? or is he still in ulster?

hayes from cookies is tossing up between lansdowne and tarf last i heard havent heard any update which move was final put aside from that out of limerick as a rugby hole i heard theres a fair bit of movement.... travelling abroad work up in the city etc etc all combo of factors...
