Do people really need an abacus and good maths to work out goal difference Tony?

I'll say Portugal and Uruguay to win 2-1. South Korea really need Son to step up.

Will be some story if Suarez breaks Ghana hearts again. Wonder will there be a few strong tackles going his way. Hoping to see a Valverde screamer at some stage.

I was wondering why they were forcing Suarez to apologise for his handball after all these years but of course it was Ghana he committed this particular atrocity against. Uruguay having decided he is no longer the player he was and dropped him for the last match bring him back for this one. Are they trolling?

Think there's just much of a muchness between himself and Cavani at this stage, both a little past it physically

Horta gives Portugal the early lead. Terrible start for the Koreans. Dalot did well.

They have even made Suarez Captain. They are definitely trolling:)

In fairness, most players would have handled the ball.

Sometimes it's the stuff you mentioned earlier and sometimes it's more simple. Certainly some people are supporting or hating England for political reasons.

I hate Clare hurling for no reason other than proximity and the fact they hate us back just as much.

Looks a pen to me for Ghana.

Don't know how Alan Cawley is unsure on that pen. Stonewall imo.

Possible penalty for Ghana against Uruguay. Ref has gone to the screen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,167 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Ah no, the Ghana player has dived big-time.

Surely its offside before the penalty, the Ghana player was offside and got a touch on the ball? 🤔

    Bottled that penalty

Justice done. Awful penalty though, keeper did his part.

Terrible penalty and perhaps justice served

History repeats itself. Wasn't Ayew in the squad in 2010? Cawley is a dreadful commentator.

Penalty all day long. don't know how the ref didn't book saurez. Missed in any case

    Uruguay lead. Suarez involved.

    Amartey and Seidu awful.

    South Korea equaliser.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,167 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

Suarez heavily involved in Uruguay's lead goal.

South Korea level now as well.

I had to look I was in the correct forum with all these theories 🤣

All jokes aside I would not be a manager to tell Ronaldo to sit a game out in the world cup. I think this about Suarez and Ghana is really getting old its like if we still talk about Henry if we are to play France!!! O wait 😋

    Ronaldo with the assist

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,167 ✭✭✭✭sligeach

    2-0 Uruguay. Suarez involved again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,704 ✭✭✭Xander10

Good finish. Ghana on the ropes

    Lovely goal

    Keeper awful

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,643 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

What a great goal by Uruguay for 2-0. De Arrascaeta again. Suarez with the assist.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,881 ✭✭✭Sudden Valley

Ghana must hate Uruguay now. A real bogie team

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,392 ✭✭✭✭martingriff

Lovely finish to the goal and the pass to him wasn't half bad

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,639 ✭✭✭jacool

We see the difference between Ronaldo and Suarez there. Suarez would never turn his back on the ball!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,639 ✭✭✭jacool

If South Korea go in front, and win, Uruguay will have to score again.

Just for reference, Darwin Nunez getting booked for trying to scuff the penalty spot has fair play at 4-4 between South Korea and Uruguay.
