    Incoming red card!

Haven't had much attacking ball today, but we've seen none of our multi phase, sweeping attacks today.

Heard a lot about how we're trying to move away from our dependency on Sexton. While that's true and we've seen many more players stepping in as a first receiver, it still requires Sexton on the pitch to identify when the attack is on and to pull the strings.

McCloskey didn't look as confident today, loss of Sexton compounded that.

It was only a matter of time before we botched a line out because that's pretty much the only thing that hasnt gone wrong so far bar our defence, and I suspect the way this game is going its only a matter of time before that goes.

I dont agree, we are not being completely clinical in attack but this is a solid Aussie team who under an excellent coach have brought in a lot of new players that arw being lead by a very competent experienced halfback pair.

This aussie team is going places and we are keeping them in their box for the time being

McCloskey did fine, not sure he's done enough overall to warrant some of the hype he gets. Still behind Aki and Henshaw for the 12 shirt

Imagine scrummaging for fifty minutes and then having Taniela Tupou and Will Skelton subbed on against you on your side...

Can't believe White is coming back on based on what I saw.

Glad I am not in the Aviva for this game. It's a shocker. So so stop start and boring.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

JGP seems off the pace and we seem to be trying to take pressure off Crowley and it's hurting out attack

Should have reversed that penalty and awarded to Ireland. Aus player goes down with injury, Ireland play the whistle and Aus players rush in for handbags.

    White??

    Yeah right Ted.

Ah I think that was his first mistake of the evening. He's had a good debut against quality opposition so far for me.

How is Nic White coming back on?

It’s an absolute disgrace that white is back on

We're missing Sexton something fierce, but we're still not doing enough up front to deserve the points. We've botched a few attacking lineouts and haven't resourced the ruck at all well enough

    Madness

    utter madness

this is yet another low point for rugby

Which doctor said White is ok to play? What the **** footage were they watching???

You've heard of second impact syndrome, could witness this impact syndrome here. Would be funny if it wasn't so serious

Both times Ireland have hit #1 in the rankings, opposition has paid more attention to them and shut their attack down easily. Just goes to show how incredible NZ has been to maintain their excellence and constantly evolve.

Australia were 16/5 even after Sexton news broke.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,343 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Yeah, can't believe White is on. Not good.

I'm dreading the WC because I can't see how we'll have Sexton for much of it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,343 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Crowley enjoys a good counter ruck

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,343 ✭✭✭leakyboots

    Wow, super clearance by Keenan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,055 ✭✭✭✭phog

    Some kick from Keenan

We’ve missed Sexton but god damn, we’ve been poor at the breakdown and in the maul. JGP’s decision making without sexton is very poor.
