Here we go. More prick-acting at the scrum to waste more time.

Did the ref rush Byrne there saying 20 seconds left? I did think he was taking an age getting ready.

What are they doing in the Hyacinth House?

The stones on Ross Byrne. Fair ****’s to him.

Stupid penalty to give away there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,487 ✭✭✭almostover

Some of these not rolling away pens are maddening, sometimes it's just impossible not to be in the way. Surely a scrum to the attacking team if it's not blatant is more sensible?

    That should be it

FFS, he's being held upside down in the ruck, how the f*ck is he supposed to roll? And JOB had a perfectly fine turnover there and told to release.

    Now, lineout, secure, clear!

As the Referee said he should have reversed the penalty and given a penalty to Ireland.

How come the tackler aways falls on the wrong side

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,487 ✭✭✭almostover

Lol. How did we win that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,807 ✭✭✭Xander10

Did their best to nearly throw it away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,385 ✭✭✭leakyboots

Our lineout is gone to pot since POM went off. We've lost at least 3. Crazy call to go that far to the back there.

Take the win, not a great performance but at least we've blooded another 10 and learned about some of our more fringe players.

Piss poor but a win is a win

I think we've seen where Irelands next evolution needs to be. Australia made a meal of the breakdown and Ireland struggled for any sort of attacking platform as a result. They counter rucked brilliantly and JGP was given an awful time tonight.

Yes, we missed Sexton something awful, but I think we would have struggled even with him today. No sort of attacking platform for about 50 minutes.

Fair play for winning however. This was easily one of our worst performances for the last 18 months.
