Any idea what the ticket limit is? Group of us trying to split up for the presale.

Also anyone know if it's usually the worse blocks they release first in the 3arena? Like blocks H and P

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,685 ✭✭✭Fanirish

Time limit Usually 8. Realistically a block of 8 tickets will be impossible to get for Peter Kay.

with pre sales it’s a free for all on nearly all or most blocks, though some such as tiered seating may be kept back for platinum seating when general tickets go on sale.

    each Show is different

Anyone have the LINK for the Peter Kay 3presale?

    3Plus (ticketmasterpartners.com)

Big queue already. Don't think it matters what day you pick on the above as you join a general queue and then pick a day when you get through.

I've been on since before 10, timed out at 10. Reloaded and went back in, currently 7300 in front of me, was over 10,000 I'd imagine more dates will be added given the demand for this

    Good luck everyone....in queue...

Had 2 tickets to the Friday night went to buy then it said I got kicked out. All gone now.

Bit more expensive than I thought, Block K 86 euro plus fees, and 170 for flat seating at front, pretty steep

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,515 ✭✭✭Wheety

I was on at 10:00 and I'm 4600 now. Had ticket for his last tour which was cancelled so I should get priority! 😁

Ticketmaster did that when Elton John's Red Piano tour was cancelled. Those who had tickets got a presale for his next show here. Brilliant idea.

170 per ticket? I'll leave it if it's that much. Don't like sitting at the back in the Three Arena

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,803 ✭✭✭delbertgrady

€170 top price? It's Peter Kay, not Peter Gabriel.

Luckily I managed to nab 4 tickets for myself and wife and 2 kids. Says the show is over 15s but both my kids are 11 and 13 and absolutely love Peter, does anyone know if they are strict on the doors or is it a case of having a parent there with you if you are under 15?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,846 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

That is extortionate...didn't he make a big deal that the UK tickets were 35 pounds...the same price as when he last went on tour?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,146 ✭✭✭mossy464

Keep persisting searching. Got 4 just now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,260 ✭✭✭A-Train

I was in for Friday and kept trying and it spit me out 2 tickets for Thursday just now. Got them

Needed 5 tickets but they only allowed 4 to be sold, had 4 in block A, and had to give them back though as it would have meant 1 disappointed family member, gutted.

I did rejoin the queue though and managed to get 2.

Fairly pricey compared to UK prices though, I think my ticket was 67 euro each.

02 priority (UK Presale) tweeted its the highest demand they've ever seen in 15 years of offering presales

No Saturday gig on the website

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,104 ✭✭✭andrew1977

Dublin, you had me worried there, just checked my confirmation email, its Dublin.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 107 ✭✭Daniel112

Sat gig in the 3arena. You have to keep searching for tickets through the Thurs or Friday page and it will eventually suggest Sat tickets

Kept refreshing for Friday, 3 came up, great me think, purchased them then went to look at them and discovered they are sat tickets?

He hasn't even announced Saturday has he?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,515 ✭✭✭Wheety

Seems to be offering Saturday tickets randomly. I've been trying for ages and they eventually offered them but not getting it again now.

Saturday now showing on the site.

Got some friday tickets there. It had initially allocated me tickets in the nosebleed section and had to keep searching until it allocated me tickets that had a relatively decent view.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,846 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Kicked out of queue 5 times.

Got through to pick tickets for Saturday none available...but they are via their reseller...typical

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,124 ✭✭✭boccy23

Keeps coming up with None Available. Did others get that?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 467 ✭✭paddyirish23

Keep trying I did and eventually got some

tried to get 4 but it would only let me pick up 2 in the end very annoying

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,846 ✭✭✭✭gmisk

Themselves...(well people returning tickets via them).

I got tickets for Saturday and it crashed...in block E...I give up getting nothing now for any date bar 170 euro tickets...

Does anyone know what the situation is for gifting the tickets as a Christmas present?

With the card seller's name on the ticket will it be ok if someone with a different name attends the event?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,104 ✭✭✭andrew1977

Dont think there any name on ticket/matches id for this gig, I buy tickets for family members all the time through ticketmaster and transfer them no problem, nobody has been stopped at at gig.

I had tickets for a U2 gig few years back where name on ticket was supposed to match ID at the door, wasnt even checked, no hassle getting in.

Cant see you having any issue , ticket transfers /giving to others done all the time.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,515 ✭✭✭Wheety

Anyone who missed out, don't forget that the presale tickets are only a small allocation, and the general sale is on Saturday. Granted there will be more people trying but you might get lucky. Might be a few more days added too.

Weird presale today for me and the missus. Both in queue early. She joined waiting room at 9:45, I was in about 10 minutes later. She had 150 ahead of her in queue. I had 540 (ish). When she got through (quickly enough) only the expensive seats available.

My phone browser didn’t load after the wait, but was able to go out and back in without any wait and picked tickets in Block G in the €67 range but when I went to pay they were €86 tickets

I took them anyway and she still couldn’t find any tickets. The presale system is so, so buggy

It's their service charge that gets me, 7.15 per ticket.

A bit weird, in 2018 I purchased tickets for Peter Kay, Got Block M, this year I got Block M, 1 row behind the 2018 ones!

The price back then for 2 tickets was 125 euros, this time round its cost 149.20

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,322 ✭✭✭✭Dodge

Do you remember when those tickets went on sale and when the gig was scheduled to take place? We had tickets too but couldn’t remember any of the details

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,803 ✭✭✭delbertgrady

On his 2011 tour, two seats in the middle of the fourth row on the flat (including all fees) cost me €99.50.
