She was an un-elected head of state.

And we are a democracy and a republic, so I don't see why we owe that woman or her decrepit family dynasty any respect.

Everything she stood for and what the windsor family stand for, should go against what we fought for and what we claim to be as a nation. You cannot grow up in England with the dream or aspiration of becoming King or Queen of your country, unless you have the correct bloodline. That's what you are endorsing if you believe in a monarchy.

And don't let anyone fool you, this woman had power. They try to pretend she was just some sweet harmless old granny.

If this was true, then why did she meet in private countless 1,000's of times with every sitting prime minister? She wasn't sitting around drinking tea and chatting about the weather that's for damn sure. She had power, but she was very clever and cunning about how she wielded this power.

And old charlie Jug ears will have plenty of power too. These people are masters of self preservation, and they very rarely let their public mask slip. They have fooled many of their loyal grovelling sycophantic subjects that they are benign harmless figureheads. Being "non political" is simply another clever way to ensure their survival.

The people of this country took a very courageous decision to remove this family as rulers of our nation. One day, hopefully, the British public will have the same wisdom and courage to dump these chancers into the dustbin of history. Where they belong!

So no, to be very blunt, the people on here who say we owe Elizabeth Windsor respect... you are dead wrong. We don't owe her or her family anything. They've done nothing to warrant respect.
