wow talk about a game of 2 halves! Raiders could do no wrong in the first half and didnt do a single thing well in the 2nd. Credit the cardinals for the fight back - they deserved that win.

You can be lucky but Lamar has missed six games in the last two years, Cam had a nice run but then missed two games in 2018 and his career was over after what happened in 2019. I know he came back and played a season with the Patriots but he wasn't the same player. He's only 33 and he's been done since he was 29. Jalen Hurts has missed four games already in his young career, Kyler Murray missed three games last year, Tagovailoa missed four games the last two years and Daniel Jones has missed something like eight games to this point.

Luke Getsy and Nathaniel Hackett are blessed they got to work for Aaron Rodgers. Both of them got promotions after riding his coattails.

Fields will get some garbage time throws but when it actually mattered tonight: 7/9 for 70 yards. 9 pass attempts and one designed rollout is pathetic. 4th and goal at the 1 and Getsy calls a QB run out of the shotgun after Montgomery/Herbert torched them the whole way up the field. You donkey.

Borderline malpractice by Shanahan, everyone was calling out what was going to happen, it just doesn’t make any sense to treat Lance like a RB, now you have just set Lances career back a year, it just baffles me how he didn’t expect an injury to happen, a conspiracist could make a good argument he wanted Jimmy G cos he didn’t have confidence Lance has it. I understand you want a mobile QB but you want that when plays break down not to draw up running plays every other play for him

I think Jimmy G will do fine, players like him and he is very competent for the most part, having Kittle back will be a big help

Colts look like a bit of a dumpster fire now, not seeing it with them, Raiders somehow find a way to lose again, Cinci off to a very poor start but I think they will get it together, happy to see Salah and the jets today

Tua isn't a runner by any stretch of the imagination. 9.8 rushing yards per game last season, Baker had 9.6 who himself should have been benched last season to protect that shoulder.

On the other side Stafford is still going at a high level but has been hurt numerous times. More consequently for SF is I think Jimmy has only managed a single season without getting hurt. Burrow again doesn't run much but has missed nearly a full season and at this point I can't see him getting through the season without an injury unfortunately.

How many running QB's did I miss out on?

How many pocket passers did you miss out on?

Great weekend of football, plenty of interesting storylines and good games.

Currently flicking between the MNF games and the Bills are awesome to watch on both sides of the ball. Eagles offense too.

My god Allen has some arm on him, it’s sensational, makes it look effortless at times

    10 - 6 takes me to 21 - 11 overall.

Tough week for picks with the Ravens and Browns blowing big leads late on. Some phenomenal play from Tua and Hill in that last quarter though, absolutely amazing stuff. What a start to head coaching for Mike McDaniels, taking out Bellicheck and Harbaugh in his first two games.

Kyler Murray answering the offseason critics with another amazing comeback in LV. I know he's not without his faults but my God his skillset is unique and extraordinary at times. That 2-point conversion will live long in the memory.

As disappointing as the Colts start to life with Matt Ryan has been, it must be a worrying time to be a Bengals fan. I know it's only week 2 and no time for over-reaction but the more you see the more it makes last seasons fairytale look like just that. No sign as yet that their efforts to shore up the O-Line have had any meaningful impact at all.

2 awesome performances from the Bills and the Eagles on MNF. Haven't had much time to digest but the Eagles dominating the Vikings like that is really impressive and reinforces a lot of the early season optimism around them. As for the Bills, they look like an unstoppable force at the minute. The only fear is that it's very early in the season to be peaking and it's not often a team can sustain that level of performance right the way through.

9 and 7 this week 17 and 15 in total,

Not bad this week considering some big upsets could have been much worse,

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,512 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Favourite for the MVP at this stage, if he doesn't get injured it's his.

He won't because he's only got a one year contract. He'll be looking for a three year deal somewhere and then you'll see him back playing like he did last night consistently.

8-8 for the week - 8-24 on the year. That was a rough week - some wild finishes really made that one a week to forget.
