Loving it, lying in bed, curtains open, window open a bit, sound effects brilliant!

Some crazy lightning flashes in Greystones with multiple strikes/pulses. Lightning flashes seem to last a couple of seconds.

Thor has returned to Lucan with a vengeance! Massive flash followed quite quickly by a long loud rumble. And again just now. Very close.

Biggest bolt of lightning I've ever seen there. The thunder is the most aggressive I've ever heard as well. Great show.

It's fair to say the Met Éireann app has so much traffic it has shat the bed.

I wonder what’s causing these double and triple flashes, I don’t think I’ve ever seen it before in Ireland but maybe I did and just can’t remember?

stunning forked lightning , so long since I’ve seen it at night!

There was a good clatter of thunder about 7.30 PM around Oranmore in County Galway.

If you want to get into it, you got to get out of it. (Hawkwind 1982)

Net Zero means we are paying for the destruction of our economy and society in pursuit of an unachievable and pointless policy.

Big fork of lightning just touched down very near me in lucan, followed by a long loud rumble

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,813 ✭✭✭Dazler97

On call with my friend in firhouse and omg the strikes are deadly

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,570 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Yeah longest rumble of thunder I ever heard here in D15 and the end of it had a whip vibration which rattled the windows, not easy to do that to argon filled triple glazing.

Alarms and dogs not faring well.
