    Very strange day. Never seen the entire country so active, for long at once. The storms haven't been that intense in Waterford. Plenty of strikes but they seem quite weak and pass quickly compared to summer storms I've noticed.

    That is some storm coming into the SE, its like one of the storms that crosses the channel from the N of france, oh the envy!

    What a day its shaping up to be and night, who'd have thought it,youd barely get this in the summer, let alone late October.

    I can not remember a day with so many frequent thunderstorm warnings and updates.

    I'd say these Storms are generated as winds are a southerly drawing up that Mediterranean heat from Spain and at times France
