Rats: Are they vermin and if so are they protected under wildlife act

    I have often collered a rat in a shed with a shovel.

    I even know a farmer that killed a fox sleeping in his hen house with a shovel to the head.

    Is this breaking the law of section 33 for wildlife act or are such vermin interactions viewed differently..
