Got 15 plus too on both tests this time around. Significantly better than last time. Phew! I did SO bad first time around with all the interruptions that I don't think it could have gone worse! Very glad I did resist as I was in 2 minds.

Does anyone know for sure if what follows is publication of the results or another invitation to complete a test (SJT)? I suspect SJT and then results.

Are numerical scores likely to be considered this time around?

Both numerical and verbal are counting towards OOM per the familiarisation booklet.

ON reading the campaign booklet it appeara that verbal and numerical only are stage 1 and that the combined scores will be used to advance to stage 2

Given the mention of 'shortlisting' on application forms, Im wondering if they will use them instead of situational judgement to determine OOM? I dont know but it was a thought that crossed my mind. I know the booklet says stage 1 is only numerical and verbal but with the different tone to this competition it may be a possibility

Where was that in the booklet? Did it specify that the scores are being combined? Might actually work in my favour for a change lol

Pg 4. Under the 'Overview' heading, the relevant sentence is highlighted in bold.

I wonder if there will be a delay in getting the results due to the need for resits. Does anyone know if many people resat the test?

I took a chance and stuck with my OG test results. Hopefully it'll be ok! Wonder will we hear soon

Also decided to stand by my 1st test.... hope I don't regret it!

Only through the grapevine but most that I have spoken to decided not to resit. Dont know about anyone else but thats the vibe through the sections and colleagues I deal with. I only hope they put us out of our misery soon

If you email PAS and ask, they will get back to pretty quick. Results early June 👍

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 71 ✭✭Csk2019

Is early June what PAS have said? I would have thought it would be sooner

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 253 ✭✭Chase3

It’s what they told me yeah. They replied within 20 minutes.

Thanks for checking. At least it can be put of the mind until then

Sounds right, before the delays I would have said Friday 3rd (just before bank holiday). Maybe the 10th is more realistic now given the re-sits

Did anyone here go for the Policy Analyst Policing Oversight HEO role that was recently advertised in the Policing Authority?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 102 ✭✭Em2157

Did anyone get their results ayet, I've heard of one so far

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 959 ✭✭✭tgdaly

Just got my results now. Passed stage one with a decent oom so happy with that.

Although the result I got was for my first county, have Dublin as my second choice and it says "It is initially intended that all successful candidates from Stage 1 who selected Dublin as a location choice will be brought to Stage 2 in early-June. Shortlisting for regional location choices will take place on a later date."

Edit: Just got my Dub results also

Just got my result and oom for my 2nd choice county am presuming I will get my oom for 1st choice in time ?

Just got my 1st choice oom -Cork

Just received mine too. Passed too thankfully. Probably won't be called for the Dublin one as my OOM is very poor but my second choice location looks promising.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 483 ✭✭eroc79

missed verbal by 1 but did great in numerical. Unfortunately out. Best of luck to everyone else still in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 102 ✭✭Em2157

Got my results also. Only put in for Dublin. I passed in both, so really pleased. It says the next round is 'shortlisting'.... do you think they will shortlist us from our application forms?

Well done to all that passed, and sorry to those that didn't. Hopefully the opportunity comes around again soon.

There are always competitions. Keep trying and you will get there Eroc79 :)

Happy out passed. Mid 900's for Dublin, what are the chances of getting it with an OOM that high?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17 caznemoy

What's your idea of poor OOM? Just trying to gauge peeps opinions.. obviously top 20 OOM is great but are you talking about 50's or 100's being poor..?

Well done to all who passed and good luck with competition 👍
