If you don't mind me asking, what information did you have to clarify? Was your remote working relief that high?

They wanted number of days worked from home. I was surprised too. I expected it would be a question about EU deposit interest. I have a good record of this, so just responded and that was that.

Queries received from revenue after submitting form 12 PAYE income online

Hi all - has anyone received queries from revenue through their portal to submit dependant relatives form and employing a carer form after submitting your annual return on the portal? Is this normal or anything trigerred them? Also has anyone had a similiar experience? They havn't released my statement of liabilities yet?

If you got an email then it's being manually reviewed. Does it say it's a level 1 review or is it just the PAYE helpdesk asking for more info?

Certain things will trigger a manual review. Possibly the employing a carer credit.

Just send on the proof and it should be fine. The quicker you send back the proof the quicker they'll issue the statement of liability

Thanks. It's just a message from ''service to support compliance'' team through ''My Enquiries'' to submit these forms and no they didn't mention if it's a Level 1 review etc.

Still nothing back, I owe them money but I'd just like to know where I stand.

Two months since the initial tax return.

Submitted mine on 7th Feb, haven't heard anything back on SOL. Raised a help desk enquiry on 7th March - no response on that as well..

Called the helpline today 017383699, and the automated voice says cannot help as there are loads in queue. Need to submit a ticket online.

Since January, I've had 4 SoLs issued to me for 2024.

First one in late January was generated after I'd included health expenses and non-Irish deposit interest. It calculated my bill (about 100 euro) and indicated that it would be collected by reducing my tax credits over the next 4 years.

I decided to pay the amount owed upfront.

This generated a second SoL, which showed a clear balance and no future adjustments. I received this about the end of Feb.

Less than a week after the second SoL, I get another SoL, which showed that I owed another 180 euro (on top of the 100 I'd paid). Turns out that they hadn't used my final 2024 salary details when calculating the first 2 SoLs, so the original amount owed was calculated incorrectly.

I paid the 2nd bill, which generated another SoL about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully this is the final one for this time around!

    Hey people,

A friend rang me this evening he made his return more than 6 weeks ago heard nothing rang them today and they told him It was processed it might not have come through in error so they reprocessed it again, he also told them he contacted them on my enquiries 4 weeks ago and still beard nothing. They bluffed him off saying it's answered now. Do they genuinely forget to process it as he was also told it went for further checking.

Did you get the sol this morning?

I sent a a follow up on my enquiries yesterday and got a reply today saying my return has now been completed.

I presume the sol will come tomorrow.
