25-23 after three weeks which is cat altogether and for one of the few times I’ve not picked the eagles which I’m not happy about but having watched the game in 40 twice since Tuesday morning I can’t pick the eagles because they were god awful. I’ll be happy to be proven wrong on Sunday but I can’t see it happening.

Lots of very close calls this week. I'd love to stay up for the Bucs Pats game but I think it's gonna be very one-sided and have a couple of early meetings on Monday. Gonna try and ignore the phone and get the game in 40 on Gamepass at lunchtime. Looking forward to Ravens @ Broncos, Browns @ Vikings and Raiders @ Chargers. 3 games I genuinely have no idea who's gonna win. Here's to another great NFL weekend folks!

Brady sounds (and looks) in rough shape ahead of the weekend.

Hope I'm wrong but TNF could be a tough watch.

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,861 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Not great viewing so far and Chark has fractured his ankle, one of the players worth watching here.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

So the jags have decided to start playing the week I pick them to lose both in my picks and the survivor pool. What a shock.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

And just like that the bengals are level at 14-14 middle third quarter.

or not. Call reversed so 14-7 jags still but you’d think the bengals would get this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

And they get it so back all square as they say.

  • Registered Users Posts: 40,861 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Tough loss for the Jags. Burrow had a very solid night.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

As joe buck just said the bengals had never been ahead until the end but that’s when it matters. The bengals goes to 3-1 but to their credit the jags showed some fight.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

i know it’s hindsight but maybe the jags should have taken the FG at the end of the first half instead of going for it and turning it over on downs at the goal line.

and the jags have now lost 19 games in a row and I don’t think they’ll get past the bucs 26 game record they’re a bit closer then I expected.

Jags actually ran the ball well with robinson well in the first half anyway , good to see Lawrence have a better outing for them . Who would have thought the bengals would be 3-1 hopefully they can keep on improving and be in the hunt for a playoff spot .

And while I didn’t intend to watch TNF live I did and know I remember why I don’t do it anymore. Jesus am I tired. A good two hours I think I got.

Meh. The Bengals had time to push it in the endzone. Especially given our defense didn't get a stop the entire second half so I don't think it is a massive deal as it looks. Certainly the call didn't work but that is hindsight.

No idea how to rate that defensive performance. Closest the Bengals got to the endzone was a missed FG in the first half. They scored on every drive in the 2nd half and were only held to a FG on the last drive because they wanted to run out the clock. Still just 1 turnover and not much pressure on the QB.

Offensively the 4th and 1 was obviously a big play. Lawrence went above 70% completion with some big splash plays with no turnovers but still managed to miss some short throws which he has a tendency to drive into the ground. He used his legs well and Robinson is getting used better.

    Getting better I guess.

Given that y'all picked the Rams to lose last week, I'm not worried!

Well the eagles vs the chiefs will be an experience for eagles fans but I’m not confident of it being a good one.

21-13 to the chiefs against the eagles at the half which isn’t as bad I feared.

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,440 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

28-16 to the chiefs late third quarter.
