The coverage has been ridiculous. Whatever about 4 balls, but we're not seeing close to every shot during the foursomes, which is essentially 8 golfers on the course..

Modern Tv golf coverage is literally unwatchable.

They show a couple of shots ,then a shot of the scoreboard, then an ad break, back to a panoramic still or an aerial view of the golf course, then an interview, show a couple of putts , another ad break etc etc.

Can’t believe what I’m seeing here: Sky Sports News headlines at midnight had no mention of the Solheim Cup. England beating Andorra, Dutch Grand Prix and Arsenal ladies beating Chelsea all deemed more newsworthy. Unbelievable!!

As others have mentioned, the amount of shots not shown by the coverage seems ridiculous. Albeit it does add a bit to the drama seeing some amount of the pre shot routines, surely they could still find a way to show quick clips of all or most shots.

They're really trying to push the WSL. It will never be naturally profitable in my opinion but that won't stop them from pretending it's popular and important.

Meanwhile ladies golf is sustainable and Sky probably feel they don't need to mother it as much.

Sky in fairness to them are operating off the Golf Channel feed. They can only show what is been fed to them. I hate, hate, HATE the sound production on the show. Everytime there is a cheer it goes loud then down to nothing with an inane commentator talking over it in a hushed and always (not always deserved)glowing tone.

I feel bad for the oncourse interviewer for SKY. It doesn't suit her at all.

That first match has history from a previous solheim cup, Leona v Kupcho could be a classic again, hall v nelly and the last match all very interesting.

just really hope that Europe don’t lose by a point. Will bring back all the talk from the ruling the other day

That ended in a tie, from memory Maguire had a very big early lead and Kupcho fought back to level it on the last. Home bias aside, it really does stand out as the match of the day. All of them are equally critical, of course, but the fact whomever wins that will likely be the player of the tournament just gives it so much added heft. Should be good.
