    64mm Valentia

    41mm Belmullet

    45mm Newport

Incidentally only 1.2mm Finner so it was really only West and Southwest coast.

After 3 wet days here in Castlebar the sun is out this morning with plenty of blue skies appearing.

    Wet morning in Arklow

But I almost squirm when I say 1.8mm so far 🤣

Ditto in Greystones....1.8mm. Finding (proper) rain in Greystones rarer than in Dublin 16.

Rain rain and more rain here in Leitrim. Lochs and canal are full. Desperate to cut some grass but the ground is saturated.

Absolutely gorgeous evening/night in Cork City - went out for a walk earlier around 7 and it was just so nice. I’m not one for very mild weather this time of year but it was lovely to get out for a walk in it just as it was getting dark. Sorry for sideways pic!

Dry few autumnal days will be lovely.

Today definitely the nicest day of the month so far, once the drizzle cleared after 1pm it was very sunny and feeling warm for the time of year.

Stunner of a day in East Cork. Wall to wall sunshine and warm in the sun.

Really beautiful day here in Kerry getting up to 15.9C in a light breeze, short sleeves when out walking.

Really enjoyed the bright skies and the lovely light this weekend after a couple of grey and wet days here in this part of the west. It gave those lovely autumnal hues a chance to really show themselves.

I drove through some quite seasonal mist and fog patches on my way to the Midlands this morning. A really nice start to an October day as the rising sun gradually found its way through them.

Below. Some nice autumnal light in North Mayo yesterday.

Today was a real stunner in Dublin, no wind even down at the seafront, great weather for jogging etc or doing stuff outdoors. It's been a great year overall for people who don't like windy rainy cold weather.

Chance of seeing the northern lights tonight, best chance is northern Ireland but even surrounding counties could see it, I've never seen them so here's hoping

When taking photos for the new boards, hold the phone horizontal

Basically the opposite of the way you take photos for Instagram

    Beautiful Evening

My favourite tree in the sunshine just now

And the shadow of It at the bottom of the hill

A little local phenomenon in all my years I'd never noticed before

Seems like forever since we had any sort of a windy day, anything more than a breeze really. Is it just me or is it actually unusual to go this long?
