Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I noticed Digital Rivers name when paying, the delivery partner for Sennheiser. Digital River also works with Lenovo, among others. My experience with them in the past has been terrible. Google them. This is too good a bargain to pass up on though, so fingers crossed.

Yup for physical goods Digital River can be a nightmare, which why an active refunded return on PayPal is always good as a backup if there is a need to send it back or in case "UPS lost it".

Do I have to pay for the cost of postage for the returns?

Don’t PayPal pay for your return fee if you paid with it?

When I click on Irish site for momentum 3 I get brought to a GBP price? Is this correct? thanks

  • Registered Users Posts: 270 ✭✭shivermetimber

White CX 400's ordered. Never had a pair of wireless headphones before but seemed too good of an offer to turn down!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,960 ✭✭✭billyhead

I can't seem to see any but are there any wired earphones on that site. They seem all wireless.

  • Registered Users Posts: 337 ✭✭paska

I didn't need these this morning. However, had a few beers while cooking dinner and suddenly I needed and bought them :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,071 ✭✭✭dakar

Thanks OP, ordered myself a pair of the Momentum TW2 this morning and mentioned the offer to the young fellow just there and picked him up a pair of the CX400BTs for him.

    €500 rrp for €200 delivered.

In the best traditions of BA, stuff I didn’t know I needed when I woke up this morning, that’s an upgrade on what I already have, at a great price!

On the right side under the big blue "Checkout" button you have a choice of currency under the "Select Currency:". Click on the "GBP" and change to "EUR".

Then don't forget to change to Standard Shipping as it seems that EUR defaults to expensive Express Shipping.

If your browser settings are set to tracking protection (or you use an ad-in), you might need to change the settings, I could not get the shop to work and allow me a currency choice until I deactivated my tracking protection.

No wired earphones can be purchased with the discount.

The discount is only valid on 7 specific models listed here:
    https://en-uk.sennheiser.com/euro-2021-promo

All of those are older models and part of the line that they will no longer produce since this area of the business has been sold to Sonova.

Trying to buy the CX 400BT but the only option is "find a dealer" does this means they're sold out?

Just realised I bought from the en-uk site. Will it make much difference re. Delivery?

As long as you are sure that the country is set to "ireland" in the delivery address you should be fine.

Unless you purchased the CX 400BT in which case you significantly overpaid.

Bought 4 pairs of wireless ear phones. No job until April, so treated the babies now that I have one. Cheers again.

Absolutely no need to add to the 4 sets of headphones.

    CX400bt for 50 quid.

    Bought.

    Thanks op! I think.

Have never purchased headphones, but in true bargain alerts fashion... I'm in. (Ordered the ones everyone else was mentioning for €50) in white, black seemed to be sold out. (Will give them to my wife for Christmas or brother in law for his 40th in a few weeks)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,845 ✭✭✭✭Beechwoodspark

The 400s got a 5 star review from what hifi - who said they were a bargain at 100 sterling.

    So...yeah...couldn’t say no at 49.50

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,071 ✭✭✭dakar

And that’s another pair of the 400s ordered for the daughter whose raycons are giving up the ghost…

  • Registered Users Posts: 685 ✭✭✭TallGlass2

Got a set of the HD 350BT, I have the 4.40BT no complaints at all, for 50€, no resistance from me :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,373 ✭✭✭iwillhtfu

Very true this. I imagine there'll be quite a few who took the plunge today (thanks OP) who'll have their first experience of the nightmare that is Digital River. Hopefully not but my experience with them has been lousy. I imagine we'll be waiting a while to get our hands on today's bargain.

If they are sold out or if you have missed it, they also have an outlet category with similar discounts on items with very slight cosmetic damage.
