Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Put down the dogwhistle.

Immigration is off topic here, on all threads. You have been warned before.

Ridiculous system tbh. There should be a vacant land lax on specific zoned land . There should be a tax on vacant properties in specific zoned areas.

If it costs people to sit on these you can be dam sure they'll do something with it. And that includes government owned properties.

Surely corporate owners should have zero exemptions available for a vacant land tax when the vacancy arises in an area designated as an area where there should be no vacancy (ie city or town). That to me is the ultimate low hanging fruit to get the vacancy tax up to a meaningful amount quickly. Even where there is renovation or development work, it should prompt quicker action to complete the work and sell or let the place.
