What I don't get is why people spend their Saturday night watching other people win money. I get why people might watch a quiz show where people win money, where you answer questions in the process. The audience are hilarious though - "Good luck uncle Jim" or whatever as they scream and wail as they select their number or whatever. It is like simpleton Ireland.

I'd say the audience are plied with drink before they record so they have suitably 'mad' heads on them.
I wouldn't have the faintest interest in watching some random from the backarse of Roscommon pushing coloured buttons like a child at an activity centre.

Soccer. I live near Wembley stadium and seeing hordes of large, sweaty, angry drunks roaring and screaming while being under the illusion that they somehow had something to do with the match being played just makes me cringe.

Are people really drunk at football games these days? I don't really watch football, except the odd big game, which makes me ok at the water cooler talk.

Not that I've been anywhere close to a water cooler in the last year.

They're not too bad. I've learned to avoid the stadium unless I'm going to the nearby cinema.

Ive seen this around a few places ove the past year in places like donnybrook fair and brown thomas with a ridiculous price on it. Thought it was gimmicky american thing and never bothered with it. Saw it in tesco yesterday for 2.50 and thought id try it to see what the fuss is, it is bloody sh1te. Tastes exactly like Yorkies, which were always the crap solid chocolate bar of yesteryear. I read after thay they are actually dutch and have a biv spiel about using ethically sourced cocoa. Pity they've turned it into powdery muck.
It appears to be really popular, most of it was sold out yesterday and ive heard people talking about it before. Not for me

I think all people mean when they say 'real women' is that it's more of a 'real'alistic expectation for a fella to get with one of them, than the slim ones. For that they say you need to go to Russia!

I get South William St, wanting to go on the lash, wanting to be in groups etc.. 'socialising'
But what was the point in breaking the fence to get in, was it just because they were asked not to?
They could have done the exact same thing outside the fence and swung from the trees if they wanted to. I genuinely can't get my head around the attraction of getting in there to stand or 'dance'.

Probably are kids, but I'm not getting it. If there was a point to getting in, or if it achieved something, it's lost on me. Surely the playground would provide better fun for them.
