I had a quick scan of the stats and there is one question unanswered (I don't expect you to know, or anyone TBH) how many of those "with no pre-existing" conditions actually had undiagnosed medical conditions that were compounded by covid and unnoticed by medical staff concentrating on treating covid.

Also people who arrived in casualty could potentially die from injuries could be counted as covid deaths without pre-existing conditions.

None of this changes my stance on the fact that the vaccine was insufficiently tested and should not have been rolled out in such a manner that some people were forced to take it to keep their jobs or to socialise.

No amount of word spaghetti will get around the fact that many people only took the jab because there were negative consequences in not taking it.

You made multiple claims recently on the thread wrt covid and 'healthy' people and vaccines. None of which were supported or backed by cited evidence.

Your question about undiagnosed conditions - well if you follow it through it shows the fallacy behind your assumption of who is healthy. So it undercuts your own argument.

You then 'ask questions' wrt documenteď evidence provided to you - evidence which thoroughly discredits your claims as medical misinformation without foundation.

The ONS data on deaths due to covid is based on death certificate not merely a positive test. So your casualty scenario appears to be invalid as an objection in the absence of supporting evidence.

Noticeable you did not provide evidence so your own claims can be scrutinised.

Because at the moment all the weight of provided established evidence supports and justifies the public health rationale behind the government rollout of vaccines. Thats not 'word spaghetti' - thats actual documented evidence. Noticeably lacking from your claims.

Is that an estimate of 80000 people who die of all causes who happened to have had a positive PCR test in the month prior to their death.

Remember the drosden PCR test, peer reviewed in <24 hours, Proven to generated 97% false positive results, numerous court rulings to this end. The same test that had its  emergency use authorization (EUA) mid 2021, but kept using it for 5 months after they announced it didn't work. Ya couldn't make that **** up.

    << Mod snip >>

Mod - @Lynnington3 there's a long running thread on boosters in the Coronavirus section of the Current Affairs forum. Your question would fit better there.

Please bear in mind that it would be better to discuss your concerns with a medical professional and that nobody can give you medical advice on boards.

    Thanks

A piece exposing the anti-vaccine film "Died Suddenly".

"His film, called Died Suddenly, portrays a striking but false narrative - claiming that swathes of people are suddenly and suspiciously dropping dead in large numbers, and that Covid vaccines are to blame.

The film misuses images and manipulates data to paint a persuasive picture that the vaccines are very unsafe - contrary to vast amounts of scientific research.

We asked Mr Peters about the fabricated evidence within the film, including clips of blood clots and birth defects which the BBC and other researchers have traced back to medical training materials pre-dating the pandemic. But he refused to answer direct questions."

    ...

"We asked Mr Peters why he'd included examples of people supposedly "dying suddenly" from Covid vaccines which were easy to disprove - including clips filmed before the pandemic or before the vaccines were available.

"I'm on a very specific mission, and that is to expose lies that are killing people," was his response."

    ...

"Perhaps one of the most surreal moments of our interview came when we asked Mr Peters about the on-field collapse of American football player Damar Hamlin. The Died Suddenly Twitter account jumped on the news in early January, using the #DiedSuddenly hashtag and linking the player's injury to Covid vaccines.

Mr Hamlin is still alive, and said recently that his doctor has put his injury down to commotio cordis - a rare condition where a blow to the chest causes cardiac arrest.

But Mr Peters continues to insist Mr Hamlin "died suddenly".

When we point out the player's multiple public appearances since his collapse, Mr Peters said: "You ever heard of CPR? That's a thing that when somebody dies you do to save their life. They're dead. Damar Hamlin died suddenly."

He went on: "I don't know if he's dead. I know he died on that field. We all watched it… Why else would they have to give him CPR?"

When we point out that death is usually irreversible, he accused us of trying to "explain away CPR", before suggesting Mr Hamlin was indeed dead and his public appearances had been faked."

Not about the vaccines themselves, but about procurement of vaccines.

A Spanish organisation called Liberum has taken a court case against Ursula van der Leyen and the EU Health Commissioner in relation to misappropriation regarding the purchase of vaccines from Pfizer. If you know Spanish you can find out more by watching this interview with their lawyer, Luís María Pardo.

Further background information is available in English here.

An enormous quantity is involved - €25 billion or so. It appears that the regulations around procurement of 1.8 billion doses of Pfizer vaccine were not followed. The case against van der Leyen is being taken in the Belgian courts; it could end up being a major legal battle. I wonder if it will bring about the end of her career sooner rather than later?

Study links covid19 vaccines to untreatable eyeball clots. The researchers found that the overall risk of retinal vascular occlusion in the vaccinated individuals was “2.19 times higher” than that in the unvaccinated group at two years. They added that “no disparity was detected between brand and dose of vaccines.”

Nevertheless, they insisted that “additional research is required to draw a solid conclusion regarding the association between retinal vascular occlusion and COVID-19 vaccines.”

Worth also mentioning that the study itself says:

Vaccination is suggested to protect against COVID-19, since the incidence of retinal vascular occlusion remains extremely low.

And the risk from Covid itself is significantly higher again this (different) study in same space suggests:

Patients with COVID-19 may have an increased risk of rare vision-threatening blood clots in the eye for months afterward, new findings suggest... Because SARS-CoV-2 infections increase the risk of blood vessel obstructions at other sites in the body, researchers studied nearly half a million COVID-19 patients to see whether they would develop clots in the veins or arteries of the retina, the nerve tissue at the back of the eye that receives images and sends them to the brain. Over the next six months, 65 patients had a retinal vein occlusion. While that number is low, it reflects a statistically significant 54% increase compared with pre-COVID infection rates... Retinal artery clots were 35% more common after COVID-19 than before, but that difference might have been due to chance.

out of 7.7 million vaccinations... so even if they were on their second dose, that's 3.85 million people, and it increased to 60 odd people out of that number.

You really need to have a word with yourself if this sort of stuff gives you anxiety.

All medical interventions aren't without risk... and as your study shows, even catching Covid unvaccinated was a higher risk than getting the vaccination.

Well the study made what seems to me to be an unusual selection choice to exclude anyone with covid positive test. Given they were tracking a specific rare condition of small number of cases, it seems strange to me to not report on that.

The figures I linked for covid link to same condition came from a different study.

In short, to paraphrase the German scientists’ findings on the variability of the Pfizer-BioNTech batches, it would appear that the good was bad, the bad was very bad, and the very good was saline solution.

Link to the study in article.

    Fake news.

It's a pile of absolute nonsense, smoke and daggers.

The article a rehash of the VAERS canard with added misinformation about placebos.

A grieving mother and her lawyer have been targeted by an extreme campaign of abuse after suing a conspiracy theory newspaper which falsely claimed her son died from a Covid vaccine.

The Irish Light repeatedly abused Edel Campbell online and its supporters have threatened her lawyer with "execution".

The Irish Light included Ms Campbell's son, Diego Gilsenan, and 41 others in an article last year which suggested the "untested and dangerous" Covid vaccine was to blame for the deaths. In fact, the BBC has been told Diego had taken his own life in August 2021, aged 18, and had not been vaccinated.

In frequent social media posts over several weeks, the Irish Light and its editor, Gemma O'Doherty, have accused Ms Campbell of "outrageous lies", being "mentally unstable" and involved in a "massive fraud". There are also extreme references to suicide about Ms Campbell.

According to Mr Mulholland, people who support the Irish Light have called for him to be executed or shot, as well as anonymously calling his office and threatening other members of staff.

Like with Alex Jones, people need to step forward and start taking people like Gemma O'Doherty to court. They are ruining lives with their lies and conspiracy theories.

There's a run through here of a similar study... something requiring more investigation before any conclusions could be drawn.

Now that the preprint was formally published in Science Immunology last month, a similar anti-vaccine movement has resurfaced, additionally claiming that mRNA vaccines cause IgG4-related diseases and cancer. But the pro-vaccine community says otherwise — that increased IgG4 regulates inflammation and may improve disease outcomes. So, I evaluated both sides of the argument and concluded that the pro-vaccine side is more reasonable, but ultimately, we don’t really know much about what the IgG4 study means clinically.

At this stage it’s pointless replying to the anti vax trolls misrepresenting studies. The MO is provide link to a study that is being misrepresented by anti vaxxers, someone refutes it with detailed information. OP disappears for a while and comes back with a different misrepresentation at some future point to repeat the cycle once more.

The effect is the thread ends up one a series of disconnected links and replies which to those who don’t have the time or inclination to look into it further may look like a on the one hand on the other argument.

It appears to be a common tactic on social media these days with the contrarian / conspiracy nut set. Introduce a topic and disappear. No real debate ensues which allows the ideas to ferment. They have learned that if they hang around to actually try to debate an issue their ideas with quickly be exposed as baseless.
