    Leitrim?

Two fairly standard questions that often stump people.

the mother teresa one is complicated. she was born in Skopje in the ottoman empire. that would make her a subject of the ottoman empire. Subsequently she was a subject of serbia, bulgaria and yugoslavia. she then became an indian citizen and finally an albanian citizen towards the end of her life.

It's Brazil I think, due to French Guyana being treated as part of France (unlike the UK with overseas areas).

Or Guyana, but it's one of them.

I remember doing a quiz once where they gave the correct answer as Albanian, far more complex that than evidently!

3-4 correct answers there seemingly. Today I learned something.

1947 AIFF: Allegedly won by Cavan in New. York (a bit far fetched if you ask me).

    .

Allegedly and far fetched are interesting phrases to use considering we know for a fact that it happened.

Interested to know why you doubt it happened.

Name an important world canal, other than Panama or Suez.

Royal Canal, Grand Canal in Venice, Grand Canal in Ireland. .
That's the kind of question that shouldn't be allowed in any decent quiz - its a subjective matter or needs more clarification....

    and this one...
Whats the most frequently drawn number in the national lottery?

Its a fairly obscure question in reality as it will change over time
