Looks like Frawley did his thigh/hamstring.

    Poor fella can't stay fit.

Don't want to sound like I'm having a go but....

This carry on of a player running 20 metres roaring and shouting to pat another player on the back has to stop.
You charged up quick and their player knocked it on....big fcuking deal. You're getting a scrum for the knock on. You don't need a heroes reception for that.

    As you were.
    totally agree with you.
Quick reverse of a few penalties in games would stop that. as there has been so many times where its started pushing arguments and worse... in games

Initially thought he had gone out cold from contact with an elbow but then got up clutching the hamstring

    I feel awful for Frawley.

This could have been his breakout season for Leinster. Has a great skillset and one that could have been developed over the season. But he's had injury after injury.

Frawley has had no luck with injuries this season. Gutting for him.

Considering he was coming back from a hamstring it's not great that he's done damage to it there.

    Brilliant steal from VDF.

Followed by an excellent cross field kick from Byrne for a Kelleher try.

    Christ Kelleher is quick

    Offside for the kick?

Replay suggests not. As ball left foot he was directly in line, I thought.

Would be a great use of a captain's challenge :pac:

Though so and the last pass for Keenan the first Leinster try look a little forward.

One of the most bizarre 40 minutes I've seen in a rugby game. We were dreadful for the opening 15 minutes and utterly dominant after.

Frawley will probably struggle to make it back in time for the start of next season if it's a bad hamstring injury. Feel awful for him. He had a lot to offer Leinster and potentially Ireland.

Almost shades of the opening 10 minutes of the Exeter match, just completely asleep in defence after taking to the pitch but then finally switched on.

    Desperate luck for him.

Had a great chance of being in an Ireland squad this summer with Aki and Henshaw both gone.

With the constant run of injuries for Frawley maybe the off season is best for him, Leinster have limited backs fit so he seems to be rushing back and breaking down again....maybe a decent layoff and slowly integrate back into the team might help him....

Thought it was a hip injury for Frawley but hamstring seems likely.

Ireland are lucky to have him and Lowry. Keenan and Lowry are both serious talents

Even allowing for the 5 tries, I don't feel Leinster have been good at all overall. Incredibly disconnected in defence and they've profited from shocking Connacht defence and breakdown work. Bizarre collapse from Connacht really.

If Connacht just played tight rugby for another 10 minutes, I'd imagine Leinster were going to just give up entirely. The opening 15 minutes was potentially the worst performance from Leinster in a number of years. It was similar to the final 15 minutes against the Ospreys in March except a very different set of players on the field.

Shame about Frawley he was having a good game, that delayed pass for Keenan's first try shows you why we need him in fit and firing for Europe to unlock teams with monstrous packs & defences.
Hope this summer the team gets a good pre season and better S&C as we have had far too much shoulder and hamstring injuries.

    Agreed. Leinster have been poor.

Completely let back into it by connacht dropping their tempo.
Connacht still look like breaking / making holes in the leinster when they get front foot. Papalli could be a big difference in this half.

However it much be said, Connachts forwards arent really any good are they. Good ball players but physically not at the races. Buckley showing why he's never in the conversation for a green shirt.

Ross Byrne will keep spreading the ball to the fringes and I wouldn't be surprised to see leinster hit 60 here

Been a dreadful season for Frawley and H Byrne injury wise. They both started well and looked to be building a very promising 10/12 partnership. They were swapping duties as first receiver and using the extra second as auxiliary playmaker to give Leinster an edge in getting the ball wide quickly.

But then both picked up a string of injuries and never fully recovered.

That Connacht maul disintegrated after Leinsters first push. They offered no resistance at all.

    What's going on there?

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,867 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Jaysus it happened again.

What on earth are Connacht doing in training?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,218 ✭✭✭ongarite

Absolutely killing them with the maul tonight
