it appears the family manager has cancelled the sub. Disappointing as there’s a few who are on same plan.

Hopefully Scotty can explain/ find a resolution.

Probably the family manager got caught by google for not being in the correct country just like users here have been, assuming anyway.

Good thing about familying on here is they usually post of it happens to them.

My worry about the family account work around, rather than your own actual family is, what if one of the family gets reported/barred for posting or searching for illegal content. Is everyone in the family account affected or just the naughty person 🤔

If your family group does get nerfed, just remember you can only change family groups once every 12 months.

I’m on Turkish sub. But got email that I need Turkish bank card for next month.

Here's the list of prices for all countries for individual membership. I'd start at the cheapest one and see how far you have to go to get a working one.

In same boat myself but think I need to wait for the membership to expire before trying a new country. Currently Argentina, going to try for that again bit doubt it'll work.

I got the same email a month or two ago. When I opened the YouTube app on Android I was able to put in a different Revolut card and it accepted it fine

Managed to finally get a polish account to work, had been failing and kept trying different revolut cards whilst using nordvpn. Had to put in random polish address and finally accepted and took the 11 for family, fair bit more than I had been paying but better than here

Managed to finally get it working through my android fone with windscribe VPN.
Had to add my credit card as a payment option and try purchasing a sub a few times.
When it wouldn't work after like the 5th time, I removed the google account from my fone, added it from scratch and tried buying once again.

I've signed up for the free trial though, so I guess it remains to be seen what will happen when it actually does try to pull the funds from my card and sees that I'm in ROI instead of the country I subbed from.

It only worked for me on the 20th and the 20th was actually the day my sub was to end so not sure if its related. I had been trying before that but those times it didnt work

Got the email there, was using Turkey for ages but Google wants a payment method issued in Turkey it seems.

Got the email was using Sri Lanka after a lottery on which payment would work

I've been downloading my YouTube videos to watch via Plex as some videos get taken down, so might not bother with whack a mole premium again

Email re Argentina.. I pay monthly and it says need to update payment method by November 24th.. what's the best approach? Wait and see or try somewhere else?

i was able to go in and add revolut virtual card as backup payment method - i had used an argentina address before.. did it using a vpn and it accepted the payment method.. will just leave it and see what happens
