Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The League Cup final has already been moved back and the semi finals are only one leg now so I don't think that that game will be cancelled or awarded to the other team. That game can be played any time really.

I fancied a punt on Giroud but was .1 short of selling Wilson for him. Haul incoming.

    Feck it anyways.

Will have at least one 0 pointer already with rotations and the City game cancelled. Almost impossible to get any momentum this season.

Still hopeful more martinez saves and hopefully Watkins does something.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Both teams have plenty of games already on their fixture list.

Fa set a precedent with Leyton Orient too

Wasn't expecting one away to Arsenal either or 4 in a row.

How is Grealish looking today.....from a playing point of view I should add?

Could really do with a return of some sort...will probably be moving him on soon either way

There was a separate rule in for round 4s and earlier in the league cup where games would be awarded to the opposition if a game could not be fulfilled

This week is going very well from a ML perspective

Awaiting my own team getting decimated tomorrow

Exact same, eveyone ahead of me is having a full on disaster.

But this is FPL so anything is possible.

You still have the issue of where do you out the game. Not like there's a ton of free dates for either side and PL and Europe should be given priority tbf

One of my main rivals in a ML has 3 City & DCL.

The way this week is going there could be a lot of players who fancied a run in the Cup who won't even make the selection at the end of this game week.

I was never getting El Ghazi but this post has aged well :P

    Does El Ghazi not play?

No El Ghazi won't start games and won't come on in many either, if Trezeguet was fit it's him and Traore for the right wing position and they always get subbed for the other.

    Dave goal

    VAR'd for offside

Sorry for being pedantic but it was the linesman that called offside, not VAR.

    McGinn hits the bar.

Some strike from ‘Ginny’. Deserved a goal.

The linesman flag went up, but VAR checked it, so at what stage would you say the linesman calls it - if the linesman calls it - the whistle should go straight away and play stopped, but they wait and see what happens and the check it on VAR.

If for instance the ref blew before ball went in the net, and it turns out not to be offside, the goal wouldn't stand.

To me, the original on field call was offside. And it stayed that way, so the linesman call was final.

If the linesman had not called it and VAR overruled his decision and ruled out the goal, I would say that it was a VAR decision.
