Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Iheanacho heads over from about two yards.

Iheanacho missing good opportunities, Leicester creating. This is set up for a Vardy Party.

    Interesting stat:

10 - Leicester City have been awarded their 10th penalty in their 16th game of the season, the earliest a team has been awarded as many penalties in a Premier League campaign, surpassing Blackburn's 25 games in 1994-95. Spotted.

Banked the transfer after coming very close to getting rid of KDB and/or Grealish for various different combinations of Son, Maddison and others.

    Martinez

    Robertson | Taylor | Dias | Coufal

    KDB | Grealish | Salah (C) | Bruno

    Bamford | DCL

Subs: Wellbeck | Anguissa | Mitchell

Hoping that Grealish, DCL and KDB reward my patience, loyalty and understanding

This is a dreadful game. Bar the saved penalty, there's been very little goalmouth action. 0-0 all over it.

More City players testing positive apparently. Haven't heard of this journalist before though.

I'd imagine Vardy might appear second half, wouldn't rule out a goal in this game

    Brought Dias in. Disaster

Teams will struggle to field 11 this week, I think.

KDB + DCL out for Son + Kane for a hit not looking so bad now. I do have Dias though but Coufal is not a bad bench option to come in.

Silva may miss out due to the short turnaround due to his age. Rudiger looks likely to start.

    This fúcking season.

I can't do a thing right, and absolutely no luck on top of it.

Wildcarders mostly won't have many City or Everton, if any, so a huge break for them. KDB was a differential for a lot of us in mini leagues who didn't see a point in getting rid yet, and now it's down the toilet.

City's game with Chelsea probably be postponed too

Mitchell coming off a lot of benches

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,722 ✭✭✭Cartman78

Have DCL, KDB and Dias so looks like Mitchell came back to life at just the right time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭shmeee

No City or Everton players so doesn't effect me. My frustrating WC this morning proving good now by mixing it up.

There should be a chip for late transfers / subs etc for Covid reasons. Ain't fair, after all the planning you can do.

I've 4 players now in Southampton v West Ham

That's why the bench is there, everyone is in the same boat.

Is Everton vs Man City off? Hearing it is.

At least in NFL fantasy you can make late changes and get out of a hole, pisses all over FPL in terms of player enjoyment.

How's everyone in the same hole? Many might only have 1/2 players involved whole others might have 4/5. And then players with no City or Everton assets.

Sounds like someone with little or no City and Everton! I agree though.

It's the same for all of us but how many of us have 3 starting subs? What if another game is off with Covid and people are down to 7 or 8 players

There should be some flexibility allowed

    Yes, they are.

I don't agree with bonus transfers at all. You have to take the bad luck. It's the game.

All the same, this is huge for those who just wildcarded. Many have taken DCL and City assets out with the DGW in mind.

Same here. I took Stones, KDB & DCL out in my wildcard.

City Chelsea at the weekend will be off too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,079 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

Switched DCL - Aguero so still affected. 3 City players gone. Only have 2 fit subs so I'm playing with 10 this week.

Wish I knew this info before the deadline now.

I'm 11th on my ML and every single player ahead of me has an average of 3 players involved in the City game. And their benches ain't hectic, many red flags or just fodder.

It's luck I got but if I was on other end I'd be like a bull.

Newcastle weren't allowed to postpone their game, why should City?

It's no different to having games postponed due to bad weather etc, it's just something we have to deal with this season. There's always some luck involved. If someone doesn't have three starting subs, then it's their own fault and I don't think they should get a dig out.

This seems like a much more significant outbreak than Newcastle. Training ground shut and 8 players gone. Hard to see how fixture can be fulfilled logistically

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,014 ✭✭✭shmeee

Ps. Everton v City may be moved to DGW19 if allowded you'd think.

There was a much bigger gap between the two Newcastle games

Didn't Newcastle have loads out too and whilst Villa game got called off, they had to play against West Brom.

City will have 3 games to make up if Chelsea is postponed. Imo, they either forfeit or play who ever is healthy for the Chelsea game.

Fitting games in is going to be ridiculous for them with Europe.

They won't forfeit. It'll be rearranged

Zero chance of a forfeit fixture

This throws a massive spanner in the BGW & DGW's. City could have a double now aswell if the fixtures are rearranged that way
