Newstalk reporting that in Henry st the market stalls were selling disco balls for house parties

    Ffs like. Says it all

    I would well believe it.

My god you guys are still at it!

I'm suprised the anti-lockdown brigade aren't out selling bingo balls and picking up the last few cents from the sidewalks. Why waste your energy here? Go, go to the streets, forage for money while you can.

Which zone would you put your own grandparents in ?

Up to them. If they want to enjoy their lives in the common sense zone, that's fine with me. I know plenty of 70-something year olds who haven't missed a day's work since this whole thing began.

Nobody invited you to a party to ring in the New Year?

Really? You know plenty of over 70s, and they are all working, and they haven't been affected by any restrictions and worked right through?
    Where do they work?

I know people half that age that have been affected badly, and even they had to miss work due to the restrictions.

It's almost like your posts are nothing but a load of nonsense, but I'm sure that's not the truth..? It just, it just couldn't be...

Lots of different jobs. Some are business owners, some are tradespeople, some work in retail. I can only admire their work ethic and passion for life.

I'm having a few friends over from a neighbouring county to ring in the New Year. The bubbles are already in the fridge.

Let me guess. You will be sharing pictures of your drunken booze up on Facebook/social media right?

What would you suggest - people are fed up and are just not cooperating any more?

  • I know they're saying schools to close but what about childcare/creche facilities? Any mention of those?

Gyms in my experience are hotbeds of infection and contamination. Don’t get why ppl are ignoring that.

Your experience is superseded by the EU study I posted earlier on gym safety

Harsh punishments for people who aren't co-operating with restrictions. Make it a heavy fine because these people only seem to care about money.

    I don't give 2 ****s about people being "fed up". Grow the **** up, there's a pandemic.

Really? By posting on this forum you obviously are using social media. Anyway no doubt you will be bragging about it on this or some other thread come tomorrow night. I look forward to reading it.

Harris is a pain in the hole, all over the airways but when he was a shambles as health minister he was nowhere to be seen.

    You think not?

    Do Gardaí have drones?

If they do, what will the drone do after it has spotted someone and deemed they are outside for a non essential purpose? Shoot them with paintballs?

    Stick to the guidelines maybe?
And if you don't you can't give out about soaring numbers and "da gubbermint" need to do this and do that...

Mehole appears to be blaming this on the new strain? Absolute and total Boll***, that strain was only picked up in the past 2 weeks. This surge cases is down to relaxation of previous restrictions, Shopping Frenzy over the past 3 weeks.

Governments around the world seem to think vaccine role out is going to sort this out, at this rate they won't be able to vaccinate quick enough to keep up with case numbers.

Lockdown welcome but far to late and needed because of short term greed over the past 3 weeks. They we're warned and ignored the advice given.

Is maith an scáthán súil charad.

Tests done on positives from November, iifc, show that the new strain was here then.
