That was a very soft free to Mayo.

    Soft free

I don't know what the GAA do to stop the scourge of players hitting the deck to get frees, it's very easy to make it look like you're being fouled.

Mayo not making use of the extra man. Could regret this. They are playing very well, but I unfortunately see Dublin shading it at the end.

This is way OTT mm, jesus. You do whatever you have to to win and he is a master at it. Lads will be wound up cos of that.

But calling him scum is way off the mark. I've been lucky enough to meet him a handful of times and when I first met him it sickened me how nice he was cos I wanted to hate him. But hes an absolute gent who would give anyone his time in any situation and that's coming from a Kerry man.

one of my sisters works in TV production and met philly several times , she was very impressed by him

Surely THAT has to be a black card?

No - rules are a joke. It's like when you foul you spin a wheel and see what it lands on.

    Black card for cooper?

How in the name of god is that not a black card for Cooper. Shocking refereeing. It's literally the definition of a black card.

Nice take by Aidan o Shea.

"Caught by a dominant Fenton playing at the height of his powers"

I'd say he's having the most subdued game of his career, Ger.

That was a clear black card. FFS ref bottled it.

Has to be a black card

Mayo defence a bit open looking last few minutes.

    That's an awful decision.
But Dublin don't do cynicism :pac:

Farcical refereeing, should have been a black card for Cooper. The same player who was sent off in a previous final.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,202 ✭✭✭✭pjohnson

Cooper gets away with that yet supposedly the ref is giving everything to Mayo :pac:

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,505 ✭✭✭✭Mad_maxx

thought that was a free in myself ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 39,443 ✭✭✭✭Itssoeasy

    That was some hit.

ffs, that is a frontal shoulder? What is the ref doing, making a mess of the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,896 ✭✭✭Patser

That was very close to black card, if not nailed on.

Still disappointing to see O'Shea throw himself up to make it look worse

    Exactly what it's for.

Definitely black if they didn't already have one
