Looks like Lidl have found a "loophole" in the legislation:

"A person shall not sell or supply, or cause to be sold or supplied, an alcohol product for a period of 3 days or less at a price less than that being charged for the alcohol product on the day before the commencement of the period concerned."

Because the product (in this case slabs of Bud, Guinness & Carlsberg) was not available on the day before the promotion commenced, this regulation doesn't apply.

Lidl in Tuam has only 3 slabs of bud and some Carling. No Guinness or carlsberg. No advert for any other slabs. What a joke of a store with offer on until next wednesday.

Does anyone know when the gin deals end in Tesco? It doesn't say on the website.

I like them and I have seen other posters say they like them. Taste is subjective. Realistically you would want to enjoy flavoured gin anyway. The Gordon's lemon is very nice. 18 euro is good value for them I think. I mean you could get other gins for 35 euro that might taste different but what can you expect for 18?
They are pleasant not like paint stripper.

They're sickly sweet. My sister in law likes them but they're way too much for me.

Supervalu have 5ltr kegs of Journeyman Session IPA for 20e.

I've seen similar kegs of IPA (not Journeyman ones) going for 30-40e before.
