If they're in stock and shipping, the payment will be taken straight away. Otherwise usually take payment on the day of shipping.

Does anyone believe the 'queue'?

All it seems to be doing is automatically refreshing the page for you every minute or so. Looks like a tactic from Gamestop to stop people refreshing every second.

Bit dodgy, I skipped the queue buy just logging on to the website and ordering there, i reckon there will be many cancellations

The whole queue system is flawed. My friend opened on 2 devices, one still in queue and the second that he joined 20 mins later took him to site and he ordered. The first device is still in queue.
